*ahem*

There will be lizard riders with the Dark Elves. We haven't started on any of the artwork yet, but I was thinking along the same lines as Seiryu's pic, we may keep the hot chick too :D

Read gryphonlord's post, for it practically beats every reason of discussion about if it is possible or not.

LIZARD RIDERS, not DRAGON RIDERS, LIZARD RIDERS. Huge difference my friend.

"lizard rider" doesn't sound quite right. How about you replace the dark elf lizard riders with dark elf dragon riders or maybe saurian riders?

Dragon vs wyvern vs lizard

Post by Ulf »

Sorry, but I have to ask:
"What do you mean, an African wyvern or an European wyvern?" :)

Seriously, dragons are too powerful to use as recruitable units. Dragon riders would seriously overpower the other units. Wyverns are almost the same, as any two-legged flying critter big enough to carry a man-size creature has a lot of "ummph" in its claw-claw-bite attacks. Adding a fire attack (and a spear attack for the rider) and you're talking at least level 4.
I'm in my happy place... with all the dead bodies.

the critters they ride are just mini T-Rex's. They can't breath fire, and they aren't powerful. They are only good for moving fast in caves and flanking techniques.

neo has a lizard rider, why dont you ask him for his art work? (ask nicely and he might give it to you ^^)
You cannot ride a roller coaster if you are under 4 feet tall unless you are older than 16 years old.

Well, except that your unit rides above where the dragon was. The S-dragon was carefully posed to just fit inside the hex...

I stoles his precious from him already, just gotta change the rider, and the texture of the lizard.

Oh yeah, if any wants to try and draw it, go ahead. Warrior King is getting...discouraged, with his art. :)

No, the image is bigger because you stuck a rider on top, the skeletal dragon barely fits inside the hex.

i like the idea.
it should also be in the mp eras but it should advance from something like a dragon and then it turns into a dragon rider which turns into a dragon champion or dragon outrider or something.

I like the idea of a dragon as an independant "monster".
About the dark elves riding lizards, why would the dark elves ride lizards ?
