Haven't noticed that there are lots of info when hovering mouse pointer over there.

If some units are missing it is a bug. I'm glad you are enjoying the era!Cliffy wrote:I started to play Wesnoth recently and I found myself fall in love with Era of Myths quickly.
Just have some questions to ask.
1. In Empowered Myths, most of the lv2 units can be recruited directly, but I found some units are missing. e.g. Windsong Pathfinder, Therian Falcon. Is it intentional? and why is it?
2. Devlings is a really nice faction. It reminds me the Zerg (starcraft) somehow. Anyway, I discovered that devling units have special traits likes beefy, brainy, etc. What do they actually mean?
Thanks.
Re: The Era of Myths e9: portraits and translatability
I just thought I'd ask for courtesy's sake,
Can I use some of your celestial units in my campaign? It's not so much the faction (they don't really fit into Wesnoth history that well) but the unit sprites, names, and attacks. They would not be used en masse, but I would include them in my campaign as a historical faction. Are you fine with that?

Sorry for necromancy, but my translation have been forgotten. So here is how far as I came before I forgot about, with some improvements.

Hi,
I hope this is the proper place to notify this kind of bug.
I just update to 1.9.7 and when trying to load multi-player server I receive the following bug (see attached screenshot), related to the Era of Myths.
cheers

Same here. Possibly related to the fact that the AMLA_TOUGH macro was deprecated in 1.9.3.

I have corrected the German translation and I think I will start the Latin Traslation

I cannot help but interfere...
The diminutive of daemon, being Greek, would be daemonium.
Caelestis is third declension, so you're looking for Caelestes, then again, as a word it just means 'gods', so maybe you're avoiding that definition.
Since Windsong is a proper noun, you may like to consider coining a single compound word, like 'Aurisoni' (wind-sounding) or something.
Elementals is difficult, perhaps versipelles because of how they upgrade.
Cynophales is a delicious word.
I shall now stop derailing the thread.

Re: The Era of Myths 5.10.1: looking for a co-maintainer
Slightly corrected version, though no new text yet.
I think I will use versipellis somewhere in the changeling line, as it is a word for someone who transforms himself in an animal.
P.S. More overworking done, and I use "Spiriti Elementalis" for "Elementals".
PPS: Maybe I could use "Empusus/Empusa" for "Vampire", after the Empusai, Ancient Greek vampiric boogeywoman demons. If not, I probably use it for the female Methusalem.
By the way, I could only find the stable po file, which lacks some changes, as in the deelopement branche, each po file is said to have an error.

Re: The Era of Myths 5.10.1: looking for a co-maintainer
Decided to post this as a second post, sorry.
I have quite much finished the German translation, but of course I would be glad for responses, to make future changes possible.
I think the female Metusalem should really be something more then simply a "Duchess", probably named after a mythological figure. I decided to use Empusa for my translations.
I fear you have to wait for the Latin translation, through.
PS: on the Methusalem/Duchess: I think you shoud really use another sprite. For the ladder, I would probably use the one called Duchess (she looks really good), while for the Methusalem, I would recommend Neoskel's one (attached), as he looks really cool.
PPS: Count Kromire cannot be started because the game could not find "EOM_Noble", which is still the unit's name. Maybe it has something to do with this change about how the game accesses EOM?

Latin translation "beta"
I did the Latin translation for most units, but there are many changes possible, and I still do not know how to name the Windsong or Myths RPG.

Re: The Era of Myths 5.10.1: looking for a co-maintainer
For the Devlings I suggest: Parvi Diaboli. Daemonium or Daemon is not correct, because they are devils, not demons.
For the Windsong: Cantus Venti. Do not use Venturum. It's from the verb "venio", not from "ventus".
Carmen usually refers to a poem, not to a song in the meaning this word has.
