I prefer the darker one, it appears more powerful and dark.
Sorry for the meaningless post

I like what he posted.

Side note - for a number of attacks, I'd like to use something runic; inspired by the following:

Image Image Image Image Image

These attacks:
• The saurian magic attack, which will essentially be a sort of voodoo strike, and will not have a missile image.
• Berzerker Rage
• Petrifying gaze
• Shadow Wave
• Unholy Touch (ghosts et al.)

Other magic attacks are up for grabs as it:
• Plague, possibly
• Faerie fire, possibly
• Holy Sword
• Water Spray

I may have my friend ryan look into these, since they'd fit into a recent art project he's been doing.

AFAIK the only attack that uses Iceballs is currently Faerie Fire...

Just for clarification.. those 5 icons Jetryl posted are NOT available for our use, right? They're just examples?

Yes, just examples. They are from World of Warcraft.

New entangle image, and an edited version of the human bow image that wayfarer had made. These, and the following have been committed.

I'm not so keen on how the roots wound in the center of this - if someone else wants to take another swing at that, be my guest. The runes are good, though.

If you do take a swing at it, do it at 100x100.

wired into CFGs.
i arbitrarily gave the greatsword to units with attacks of 9-4 or greater, which were all L3 or L4 units, so that worked out about right.
Feel free to PM me if you start a new terrain oriented thread. It's easy for me to miss them among all the other art threads.

Is 1.1.2 waiting for these to be complete for release? What I mean is: is this one of the necessary projects for its release?

-edit-

btw, that entangle...it's amazing.

1.1.2 will happen whenever our release manager feels it is time. :|

Thanks, btw. And thanks to pekka and leonhard for doing the great work they have done.

What is the size standard? I thought we were using 60 x 60 & 120 x 120; it's what people seem to be posting?

*EDIT* Chopped redundant stuff for space reasons.

BTW, can I please get some feedback on my Orc sword; I can redo it if there's something wrong with it, but I need to know.

BTW II, that Entangle does indeed look awesome.
100x100 is 120x120 without the borders, which is the way I prefer to receive these things (unless you're pekka et. al. and cleanly mask them).

Since no-one's had a bad word to say about the below orcsword (doctored from Jetryl's work) and it's clearly better than what's currently in game, could someone please officially accept/commit this? Thanks.

The edges at the base of your blade appear blurry. Blurry is not good for a sword edge, I think.

Personally, I'd rather see orcs weilding blackened or rusted swords, or even katanas. The orc grunt was inspired by Ogre Battle's Samurai, I believe.

wasn't it Gares that inspired them?

Anyways, I agree about the blurriness, though I think this is the "right type of sword"whatever that may be.

Shouldn't non committed ones be in other thread, or did that change with forum restructuring?

*cough, splutter*

 Are you serious? Katanas?

EDIT: I like irrevenant's sword. It looks crude and unadorned, but perfectly serviceable for the grisly task at hand. It's odd that nobody commented on it for ages.
