russian wiki translation (messed up english pages)

[The Download page] is half russian (?) and half english for me. i would prefer english only - when on the english page.

Looks like Marsianen started translating the page to Russian but forgot to create a new version first.
I reverted the changes.
Now adding partial Russian page with his changes so he can finish at leisure.

The only affected sites I can spot are WesnothTranslations and WesnothTranslationsHowTo.

In that case i am starting to wonder if the affected pages are accurately translated or are spam of some sort. Is there anyone who reads Russian available to check, before we go to the trouble of creating separate pages for translated versions?
Btw taptap if you change the title of this topic to include "Russian translation of wiki" or something like it maybe we can get the person(s) involved to discuss working together here.

The person in question has a forum account. Why not PM them?

You could also leave them a note in their Talk page in the wiki.

The wiki user talk page would be better than the page's talk page, because you (should?) get a pretty visible notification if somebody writes on your talk page.
That being said; Marsianen (hoping you will see this thread sooner or later), I rolled back all your edits which you did to other pages as well. Please follow tr0ll's way of creating a separate /ru page for your translation.

And, tr0ll, thank you for handling the Download page translation.
