I was thinking first player recruits four powerful units surrounding the enemy leader, then kills him the next turn. Since the castle is all connected, you can recruit anywhere you want.
It is THAT which gives the first player a huge advantage.

That's the bases of modern rumbles...

With more players, the others can do the same on the first player.

:? That seems really lame. Now that I know what all the talk about rumbles is talking about... I can laugh at you fools all the longer.

I never liked that kind of maps but i must admit that all the maps who look like this (big castle and 9 leaders infront of each one) is the most played always :(... ^^

For me all those maps look the same :D

because you can play a rumble in less than a hour...

rumbles are totally random, and totally unbalanced, but it's fun...

I think comparing rumbles and normal wesnoth map is a bit unfair.... it's just a totally different game...

If i play normal games, i hardly get away below 1.5 hours, 2 being normal. Sometimes i just think "Nah, i really would like to have one more game but i had to leave early so just forget about it". It doesn't make me play rumble but i can understand, that playing for hours is too long for some people.
