My second map, your opinion please!

Hello guys,

I created my second Map and wanted to know, what u guys think of this.
I'd like to get constructive criticism.

It looks good, but it's unplayable. All 1v1v1 matches are uneven but on this map they would be just terrible. Player 1 is too far away, imo and has no village that can be captured by leader or infantry in the first turns.
Oh, I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?

The windmill can be captured by leader in the first turn, and Player 1 is not too far away, its just a optical illusion ^^
From the middle of the 3 bases to the middle of the map, there are 19 fields.
All three paths and caves are exactly symmetrical.

If you say so... now that you mention it, it does look symmetrical. And I also didn't realize the windmill is a village.
However, my point still stands that 1v1v1 matches are uneven from the very definition :)

Typically, windmills are not villages, and modifying them to behave as villages is probably a bad design, because players will expect them to just be cosmetic.

Looks like a great map. Is it on the addons server? Because I want to download it.

And it did look unbalanced at first, but then I looked at the actual hexes and it's not. Great job of balancing. :D

Sorta on a break from the forums ATM, have been for a while. If I was doing something for/with you and I haven't recently, that's why, I will be back soon hopefully.

I'm not sure about all that sand, but I guess drakes would suffer from removing it.
Also caves have too much "cave" hexes in them.
Waiting for cheesedwarfs to be added to ageless.
