Re: What games are you playing right now?
At the moment I'm playing several games.
Battle moon wars (based on the world of type-moon of the series fate/stay night)
Diablo 2: LoD (as playtester of a mod since I have played it for a loong time)
And for browser games, I played async racing (its free)
http://www.juegga.com/img-async-racing-1183.htm <- In case someone wants to try it
that is an asyncronous racing with other people around the globe (you just see their ghosts) tought while entertaining I felt it lacks some options like be able to make your own championships (you select the tracks) or just "play your made track without competing for best time (like with the quick race)
And the other one (also free tought I'm playing in spanish version) is a rpg browser with limited interaction with other players (but nice graphics) that I'll probably stop playing once I managed to beat all the dungeons.

And that's my take of games I'm playing right now.

Re: What games are you playing right now?
Plants vs Zombies
a commercial game by PopCap Games who made also other good games: Bejeweled, Peggle, Zuma
these games have free online demos, but if you buy them, they are classical offline games. they have nice graphics and sound, and are easy to play.
i liked Plants vs Zombies most. it is something like tower defense, but easy and fun. it contains levels with modified rules, so you do not play the same thing over and over. it also contains a lot of "minigames" that i really enjoyed -- they use the existing engine with funny modifications, sometime change it to a different kind of game. it seems like authors really played with the game and explored the idea. (if you know their previous games - not as good as this one - there are some funny references to them.)
also this is a good game to recommend to someone who does not play a lot of computer games. it is easy to learn and easy to play. it is almost impossible to lose, unless you misunderstand some game rule. there are some moments that make you afraid of losing, but it is never frustrating.

Re: What games are you playing right now?
I recently picked up Mario Kart Wii again. I played only occasionally before but I got the hang now.
Global multiplayer is just awesome, although most people want to run the same courses over and over again. Anyone here playing online from time to time?

Re: What games are you playing right now?
Browser game Heroes of Might and Magic Kingdoms.
Not sure if I will just get pwnd any day now by a bigger fish, but whatever it's fun.
edit: I was owned by bigger fish and I've stopped lost interest in the past couple of days, so I just stopped playing.
Also, waiting for Myth 2 Soulblight for OS X since there is a universal patch. I don't think I have played it before.
edit: definitely haven't played it before and now I can't wait. I have it here and am just waiting for long enough time slot to play it.

Re: What games are you playing right now?
Gotta add this: Dwarf Fortress. Or full name: Slaves to Armok: Chapter II: Dwarf Fortress.
Or very simply DF.
Awesome game about building a fortress full of dwarves. Titans, goblins and stuff can attack when digging for riches from below. But genious traps will kill them off. Imagine a pressure plate that closes hallway when someone steps on it. Then it drops a huge piston on that enemy. End of story for that guy. Its so complex and hard... And random.

Team Fortress 2 - (Steam ID)
Favorite game ever. Racked up over 1000 hours without idling, for those of you who know what that is.
League of Legends - (Username: TronPaul)
DotA based game. More aggressive playstyle that makes it easier to pick up and play.
