Although IMO, IftU is a better campaign overall.

Ummmm... Actually, I also like Mini Ooze Campaign and Elvish Dynasty, since they change the gameplay... and IftU... I don't know, never played it... It says I should play UtBS first, but every time I start playing it, it gets really boring... and I quit.... so.... yeah... .... Maybe it's goodn, [acronym=I Don't Know]IDK[/acronym], but still, MOC and ED are cool.

It's been a long time since I've played it, but I seem to remember Count Kromire being pretty good. Dead Water is going mainline in 1.10, so that should tell you [acronym=that it's good]something[/acronym] right there.

Dead Water is going mainline in 1.10

Dead Water is already mainline, in 1.9.

And of course, if you liked the creator of Dead Water's style, you also can play The Founding of Borstep, which admittedly is very difficult.

Rant about DW:

So, the other day I started playing Dead Water in 1.9...
But it lagged like crazy cause there's tons of water and my computer can't handle all the animated water.
So I turned off Animate Map.
Then it starts lagging cause of animating all the vampire bats in the first two scenarios.
So I turned off standing anims.
Then I get to the Slavers scenario... ARCANE COW that's a ton of saurians! It was like 18 of me against 54 of them!!
My computer doesn't handle scenarios with tons of units very well... it got so laggy that it was simply unplayable and I had to quit.
I'm thinking about trying Dead Water on 1.8, but I don't know... my first try was kind of discouraging...

I liked the founding of Borstep, though it did take me two tries to beat the campaign (or perhaps because).

IftU was not a favorite but there is a lot of good work in it.

I enjoyed the sheer size and epic-ness of IftU, although I did get tired of slogging units across large maps in certain scenarios. I've never actually managed to finish TFoB (my skill level isn't high enough! ), but it's a very well thought-out campaign and it's a lot of fun.
