I started working on getting the PBE going in early July. I'm ecstatic that it is coming to fruition .

So i got the e-mail, created my account, downloaded the beta client over the course of 4 hours, and finally log in...

I have no ip, no rp, no runes, am level 1, own no champs, own no skins, own no extra rune pages. I mean I like that this has come out, but how am I supposed to test anything like this? I suppose more importantly, I honestly feel very little motivation to actually play on the beta server simply because I don't want to start over again.

I don't believe it will stay like that. I'm not quite sure how it's going to end up but you won't be expected to start from level 1 without content.

I logged on, saw I had 15k ip, then accidentally bought a bunch of champs with ip instead of rp...

Also, is anyone else here on the PBE? My friends list is currently empty and its a little depressing

I would have liked to get onto the PBE, I like raging at Riot's balancing decisions. But I'm not active enough in the community to get an invite.

Also, now I'm back a uni I have my crappy laptop which makes it hard to play a game.

Who ended up in EU west/east? I want a friend to play with!

Also what is everyone opinions on Shyvana? I decided to buy her today and have played 2 games, 4-2-7 and 18-4-5, I built her Bezerker Greaves, Wriggle's Lantern, Black Cleaver, Frozen Mallet, PD, and was gonna build a bloodthirster, then possibly trade out my Wriggles for an IE. Other build Suggestions? tips for best usage of skills?
