Several of our mainline campaigns are in the works for upgrades at the moment, which includes adding characters and enhancing existing scenarios. We are looking for more artwork to supplement these upgrades, including the following:
We are happy to announce that Wesnoth is now able to accept donations on Liberapay. While Wesnoth does rely on the work of dedicated volunteers, no project can function completely cost-free. Revenue from the Apple App Store and from donations goes towards maintaining our servers,...

It looks good at the bottom since the page isnt too long; i had no problem finding it.
There have been numerous important forum posts and wiki articles written by users and developers. We reference these pages a lot, and decided to put them together in a convenient list. ------
Write clearly, be nice to others, and be very careful when posting anything related to politics or religion. When asking for help, remember that everyone here is a volunteer. Prefer editing your previous post over double posting. No animated avatars or graphical signatures. Don’t plagiarize...

Throughout the development of BfW a lot of attempts to create user made campaigns were made. Some of the campaigns are completed, maintained by their creators and the players can download them from the add-on server and play them. The best of them, by the opinion of the developer team, are even...

Has anyone tried to update abandoned campaigns with Claude or some other AI?
WesCamp was once a great platform for translations of UMC but as you may know, it end up unmaintained a few years ago: (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=41629). Getting translations of your campaign/other content (to work in game) is still possible but it requires more effort from the content's aut...

I even had to install python 3 for Debian 9 to use it. It only came with 2.7 pre-installed.
This topic is related to localization, but it should be read by campaign authors.
Translating programs has two steps. The second step is the translating of the texts... leave this to translators. But the first step is making a program and scenarios so that they are possible to translate;...

IMO, the translators know what sentences are properly in their languages.
That is, you should tell translators your requests and recommends, but it's not a necessary comment "we have no...
This board is for feedback on the new add-on for 1.6, (EDIT: and 1. The Ice Age (or Ice Age Fun). The basic storyline runs like this: The units are all well-accustomed to moving in snow, and generally wear clothing made from mammoth skins. This gives them extra protection from most attacks...

I did now all the changes, not all 100%, like I gave the saurians in S8 only 50 gold. Cause if you are "bad" saurians got 250 gold and you got with your allies together 150 gold.
Turn limit I am not sure yet.
Snaga is special now. Orcish Necromancer is now closer...
Hello everyone, I am glad to introduce the campaign "Palms amid Blue Dunes" to the wesnoth community! It has been a pet project of mine for quite a time, experiencing varying degrees of productivity and interest. And as with all projects, it is a most rewarding feeling to finally announce the...
This is a fan-made campaign for the Harpies faction created by Asmybelle. The campaign is 10 scenarios long, with a total of 15 possible paths through it.
The campaign is complete with respect to content, but please leave any feedback or bug reports below.
Version change log:

Thank you for the kind words! The harpies faction is definitely very well made, and reading the lore in the unit descriptions inspired a lot of the ideas in this campaign. Siren's Song is Asmybelle's own campaign for the faction, and I believe takes place around the time of TRoW. The general idea...
This campaign is the immediate sequel to Invasion from the Unknown.
After the Emperor of Chaos was defeated, the free civilizations of the Great Continent hoped that his followers would abandon the ongoing war. Meanwhile, Galas and his unlikely band of heroes head back to the northern lands t...

After the Storm version 1.0.1 is out now.
Sorry for the massively long wait. Life.
The main only highlight of this release is that the JourneyLog state doesn't get corrupted if you gather all the lore in E3S7A.1 anymore. Thank you all for tracking down the bug for me Pre-existing saves o...
Mechanical and I made a new campaign: Rage. It's a BRUTAL RPG slasher with BLOOD about dunefolk and drakes, a tale of revenge. If you want some proper carnage this campaign will be perfect for you!
You can get the campaign on the 1.16/1.18 server. Not recommended for those under 16 years old, or...

Rage (16+) 2.1.0a patch to 1.19 only has been released. It's a bug-fixing release: it fixes Shadow Mages in Scenario 3
This campaign is a sequel to the campaign Bad Moon Rising, though it isn't necessary to play BMR first. This campaign does require Archaic Era & Archaic Resources add-ons.
First upload to BfW 1.14. There may be bugs. Rewrite of second part is complete, but adjustments may still be needed. The tex...

Hi, I am new to the Wesnoth Forums. I am currently playing Trinity (Bfw 1.14.11 in PC)
I just want to say that, I absolutely love the prequel Bad Moon Rising. I like playing the Ukian faction. Anyway, I am having problem with scenario Coda, cause I can't seem to trigger the dialogue that Khthon...
For context: I and a friend are currently working on creating a campaign featuring a child from the deserts. I have two things I'd like suggestions on: placement of my desert people. They are definitely NOT the Dunefolk (I want to give them a...

The time before the fall of Dwarven Doors and the dark age of Wesnoth would be the 200s, I think early 300s. The Northern Alliance maybe wasn’t called that but it existed in some form anyway, that would be middle-late golden age Wesnoth
Decades after Wesnoth fell, scattered groups of refuges struggled to survive in the scorched land under two suns. Follow the Cossack, last of the Green Magi, as he unites six races and leads them to safety in the Northern Highlands.
Please report all errors and bugs to this topic. There will be a...

Hi spirit, hi DhatuNidra,
@DhatuNidra thanks for sharing your tavern design. I really wonder about the trees and the little garden. There will be some option to design the tavern even more. It will be possible to change designs, such as bamboo surface, wooden underground or cave design. So far I...

Very good campaign overall - usually I find dwarves a little boring but here they came to life in a good way both in story and in gameplay. Played on max difficulty.
Scenario 1 - fun idea and execution
Scenario 2 - Didn't expect this scenario to flow so well. On hard we got overwhelmed at some...

Is there something unusual at the northern edge?

EDIT: Sure enough a dwarven expedition shows up at the northern edge of the map. I should've finished the scenario...

Hello, dear Wesnothers!
It’s me again, opening a thread in this section one last time as I embark on what is likely my final campaign.

I'm afraid I have to agree that verbosity and story complexity are the main shortcomings of the campaign so far. That's a bit of a consequence of having developed the story bit by bit at different times, so it doesn't flow too smoothly. It might need some trimming and simplification before I...
'Return from the Abyss' is a story of a Khalifate/Dunefolk officer who, after taking part to a disastrous military expedition, is forced to seal a pact with a powerful dwarvish king and to fight at his service, in exchange of his protection. The campaign is about his efforts to find the way back...

Hey dwarftough, amazing add-on you have there!

I just wrote a fairly straight-forward single player scenario. (Very small chance I might actually make a campaign out of it).
It is called "Forward They Cried", and it is fairly complete, except for I want to add more dialog and maybe one or two tricks and effects in. There might also be a few AI...

Hi all. I just uploaded my first campaign, "the Stolen Sword". I would like to make it a tutorial for playing drakes. The campaign is set at easy or intermediate level. There is no music in the scenarios (at least for me). It's weird playing without some background themes - if you want to have music then you need to include some with macros

The Vampire Strikes Back
