Several of our mainline campaigns are in the works for upgrades at the moment, which includes adding characters and enhancing existing scenarios. We are looking for more artwork to supplement these upgrades, including the following:
We are happy to announce that Wesnoth is now able to accept donations on Liberapay. While Wesnoth does rely on the work of dedicated volunteers, no project can function completely cost-free. Revenue from the Apple App Store and from donations goes towards maintaining our servers,...

It looks good at the bottom since the page isnt too long; i had no problem finding it.
There have been numerous important forum posts and wiki articles written by users and developers. We reference these pages a lot, and decided to put them together in a convenient list. ------
Write clearly, be nice to others, and be very careful when posting anything related to politics or religion. When asking for help, remember that everyone here is a volunteer. Prefer editing your previous post over double posting. No animated avatars or graphical signatures. Don’t plagiarize...

The Community Guidelines have been updated.
The Moderation section has been expanded to cover Discord moderation issues.
In order to keep this forum organized, there are a couple of rules that should be followed when posting a new thread for a tournament:
1. The thread's title should be prefixed with the current status of the tournament. These values may be: If a thread becomes inactive for more than three months,...
I'm proud to announce that Afterlife Rated has started on 1.18! It was a long wait but it's finally there.
We've continued our work on balancing using the stats we gather. In order to make it more comfortable both for us and for the players, we've created Afterlife Era that includes all our...

Hey there again!
Seems like noone takes care anymore of nicks who report not correct by being a troll or by mistake or both.
vesnoth reported a false report in june but its still not recorded correctly.
But completely understandable, no way to help i guess.
After years of hard work we are closing in on releasing the best update this game has ever seen*. Yet we still are lacking... Because of that there is a need to do a bit more and check the quality of work! And for that we need people. It doesn't matter how good you are, your pc is or...

Maybe a blitz games would be good! It's fast paced, and quick to iterate trials. Also...

Any update? On the tournament?
Is1.20 for campaign or PvP specifically?
I'm under beliefs that PvP multiplayer and campaign era should be kept separate:
I think SC2 they do the same with SP/MP units tweaked differently. Maybe SP campaign is best to keep same stats so the creator gets little...

Hi everyone! It's time to start some activity on 1.18. And we're gonna start with an event I've been planning to make for a long time already: Mini Maps League!
It's 1v1 played on tiny maps from the "Mini Maps Collection" addon, right now it's just 2p mini but I'm planning to make a picker of a...

I'm interested in a SX RPG "tournament", on Grandmaster(or an upcomming higher difficulty = Uncontested) and Death Mode (die = out) or Arcade Mode (= 2 extra lifes).
Start will be mid next month (September), but scheduling with all players will be a challange therefore there is no clear start...

Tbh I realized the tournament idea makes not much sense. Overall there isn't much to support the idea. After I played some games with 4-5 players I realized how important it is to save others + sometimes your just working on the same goal anyways since there is only so much you can do alone.
In the...

I would like to organize a cash tournament that gives 40% to the developers, half to the winners, and 10% for admin fee.

Our official stance is that Wesnoth isn't secure enough against cheating for tournaments with monetary rewards to be worth it.
