Some time ago Wesnoth's code was patched to enable use of localized images, for any image for which this is needed by target language. Now would be good time to start adding some localized images, since 1.8 release is getting nearer.

There’s a dedicated page in the wiki that you can edit to report spelling mistakes in the game’s original English strings. The main reason to have this list is to be able to keep track of mistakes that need to be fixed after a string freeze is over. Naturally, grammar mistakes also belong to this...

The main purpose of this thread is to discuss the arabic translation of Wesnoth.
Until now, I added only the translation of the wesnoth-editor while I am in the middle of the translation of wesnoth-anl and wesnoth-anl

I know how hard is it to translate a long campaign line by line so I created this po manager to make it possible to extract all msgids, copy them into a .txt file, translate them with any translator then upload them back to po file.
note that this not meant to replace poEditor and it is not fully...

A translation question.
I want to begin to work for translating Wesnoth-manual and -manpages and there is a lot of confusing codes (almost every sentences is a test for me) . So, there a way to parse a .po file directly into the game to know if there is a translation incompatibility?

So I have some custom damage types and I translated them. They are translated when you view a unit in help but when you hover over the HP in the unit box it shows you all the resistances. Default ones are translated but custom ones don't use their translation as they do in help.
