What do the different abilities mean (i.e. leadership, ambush, marksmanship, etc.)? Some of them, like heal and cure, are mentioned in the manual, but others I can only find referenced in the unit descirptions, which isn't any help.
Wooh, on turn 47 we finaly managed to surround our last remaining enemy with everything we had left; sadly he managed to take down two of my ghosts, a wraith a wolf and something else in the progress but now we managed to form a circle of fighters! hopefully penguin will post his version aswell :D
I'm playing through the campaign at the moment, and have come across what I feel is a little flaw. Namely, that when reaching the later levels, it is impossible (for me) to complete a scenario on the first try, not using much too much gold.

Hi everyone, i didn't know were to put this topic, so if it souldn't be here just move it. Heres myt question, is there anyway to play without, or infinite turns? if not i guess that it would be a good idea adding that option, not for campaigns, only for the multiplayer games.
Was anyone able to defeat one or both leaders in this map in the hardest level? I was only able to resist the attack. It is more likely to be an additional level before Muff Malals when you defeat both leaders in Bay of pearls than a substitute of Muff Malals
I would rather see a unit's new HP adjusted to their current HP % when they gain a level of experience rather than the current practice of 100% HP restoration with a new level.
Example:
Level 1 fighter with 20/40 HP is promoted to level 2.
Level 2 fighter should have 50% of his advanced max...

I did just play two games against a friend and by now we're sure, that the loyalists are much too strong. In one game I did kill the orcs of my opponent without trouble and in the next game I got squished using dwarfs.
The most dangerous unit by far is the horseman which is simply much too strong....

Paladins certainly are rather powerful -- they heal, they slaughter undead, with their holy sword attack, and they're not all that hard to get, for third level units.
At least with my style of play, I find it difficult to level-up mages and archers, but I always find myself swimming in Paladins....

After several requests, and thinking it a good idea myself, I'm working on an in-game statistics feature. This feature would allow you to get statistics about any scenario you've played, or statistics for all scenarios.
I just installed Wesnoth 7-great again, juts one question: Weren't there supposed to be extre scenarios(except Heir to the Throne and Dark Hordes), lie Rise of the Mages etc? I do not see them
Notice: many of the unit images were drawn using a SNES game graphics as basis: all images which we thought might be considered as derived work have been redrawn.
0.6.99.5 with some bugfixes has been promoted to 0.7. It replaces 0.6.1 as stable release....
