The computer likes moving their leader off the castle and into a vilage where they can be massacered. Really anoying when the Leader is the guy supposed to be protecting you from the orks. Really really anoying when He doesn't even attack when he moves.

Is there any sort of update tool for wesnoth? I would like to play online, but my mandrake rpm is too old, and so is my window$ install. Wesnoth is a great game, and it is awesome that you update it so quickly, but I don't want to rebuild it every day ;)
I have a little problem about the version notation. I have compiled 4 day ago my wesnoth. It has becam a verison 0.6.99.2-CVS, and Im not able to join to the multiplayer server. So my question is, can you make the version notation a little more flexible?

I thought that units would be healed of poison if they started the turn on a town or next to a unit with the cures (or whichever one White Mages have) ability. However, this doesn't seem to be the case in 0.6.99 -- units sometimes get healed but sometimes don't, and I can't figure out the pattern....
I've just participated to a multiplayer (4 brilliant fighters) game as an Observer. Quite impossible to understand who is who, and who is doing what, no way to sniff other's strategy :-).

Hm it seems that the default icon doesn't fit all the size needs of window maker minimized apps' icons.
If this could not be fixed, maybe at least a smaller icon would be provided so that the user would manually force this small icon to be used.

I'm feeling that when some beings (persons, players, or however we call call the small beings that fight, move and die) stay somewhere (castle or ground, etc.), following the colors/contrast of the terrain and the being's gfx, it's not so easy to distinguish the being itself from the terrain.

kernel 2.4.24+enhancements, SDL 1.2.4-171, SDL_image 1.2.2-69. Hardware is a laptop
