I've been playing Wesnoth 0.7 on Linux fine for the past couple days, and then when I started it up today I was missing the top bar that shows your income, # of units, etc. I went to preferences and looked at all the key controls and couldn't find anything that looked like I could enable/disable...

i know the map editor is not supposed to be fully functional yet, but i still think this is a bug. whenever i get into the map editor, and make changes, i have to quit to save. when i quit, it asks me if i want to save changes. if i say 'yes', then it exits the editor and displays an error message....
I'm new to this forum and game, I just found out about it last week. I downloaded the Mac OSX dmg for 0.7 this morning and it crashed when I tried to start the program. I found this in the crash log:

Frequently when i load a game (specifically an autosaved one) one or more of my units (as well as several enemy units) that were severely or mldly damaged are suddenly fully healed! I doubt that's supposed to happen, although this bug has saved me from certain doom countless times...
Is this a permanent problem for any version past 0.6.99.4? I'd really like to play without the units heal on save/load bug, but it's not worth installing Sid packages for it.
To be more specific, I use the Debian distro Libranet, which has it's own safe archive the developers update as they test...
For some strange reason, I had recalled Delfador in the Siege of Elsenfar. However, on the Crossroads, he now shows up as an active character (as usual) - but. I can recall him and have two Delfadors on the same map.
Yesterday, I played Wesnoth 6.99.4, Heir to the throne, in german. On the siege of Elensefar, I made a stupid mistake, and Konrad got killed in turn 7, but lo and behold! the game went on as if nothing happened. However, when I killed the orcish leader, the game ended. Strange thing to...
I'm on the level: Siege of Elensar or whatever it's called, and in the begining cinema , there's an orcish leader speaking with a necromancer, saying: with our newly fourged alliance with eachother, there's no way we can lose. Yet, they fight eachother to the filthy death, and hardly even venture...
Sometimes in Gnome I can get Wesnoth to trigger a reoccuring redraw when the screen constantly blacks out, redraws after a few seconds, then immediately blacks out again, and continues to do so until I kill the window (and lose the state of the game).
Hmm, i didn't notice this in the past, i think the elves were not so territorial before. Playing the first scenario in the mages/elves campaign, the purple elf group takes over all of my villages! I would prefer if they don't cross the river. grr.

Hi, I'm new here, so I don't know what I'm doing...
In the second part of the tutorial, the conversation between Konrad and Delfador is lost a couple text boxes through. Delfador replies XXXXXXXXXXXX and after that, the characters show up, but no text.
In the scenario dwarven door (probably other too) most wounded units get fully healed after save/reload... even if they had 1 HP left. Seems like the computer now forget that a unit was wounded. The only exception seems to be for poisoned/slowed units which remained wounded afterward.

Been playing for a month and following the forums since then.
Don't know if only in the 0.6.99.3 or if in the 0.6.99.2 it also happened.
Some units that cannot move (surrounded by many of my units) doesn't attack....
I remember to have seen post about this problem a while ago and didn't face it the fist times I played the scenario. but I was thinking it was a fixed bug. However in BoW 0.6.9.9 for Mac OSX the sea monsters do atack L'isa troups instead of me...making this scenario far easier...well too easy...
when you press space on the last unit that has movment left, this happens (look attachment). The goto steps and the goto number is there until you scroll the screen or something like that. It remains even if you switch between fullscreen and windowed
