Several of our mainline campaigns are in the works for upgrades at the moment, which includes adding characters and enhancing existing scenarios. We are looking for more artwork to supplement these upgrades, including the following:
We are happy to announce that Wesnoth is now able to accept donations on Liberapay. While Wesnoth does rely on the work of dedicated volunteers, no project can function completely cost-free. Revenue from the Apple App Store and from donations goes towards maintaining our servers,...

In my experience, the large battles are what define this campaign. I genuinely thing it would lose some of it's identity if those were to be changed. Eastern Flank in particular wouldn't feel the same without the the visual of the large red-orange wave moving right to left on the minimap and wiping...

I'm pretty sure Iliah Malal is dexterous so he does more damage than a standard necromancer. The Dexterous trait only appears on elves by default and the note in the wiki is a way to explain it, but there's no reason why it can't appear on a preset unit that's not an elf.
The purpose of this thread is to discuss the development of the mainline campaign "The Legend of Wesmere".

Certainly, thanks for the work that goes into campaign creation. The peerless leader is a pretty hard problem to solve, given orc culture.

From the Journal of Ardonna of Tarrynth: It's unfair that we humans must die after so few years. Though this is the natural order, we need not embrace it! The lords on the Green Isle knew how to live forever. Pursuit of that knowledge was declared illegal by King Haldric I, but I believe it i...

HttT has not undergone any significant change in 7+ years. I am currently reworking the scenarios one by one, updating some of the wording, dialogue, maps and general gameplay. At this time, the intent is not to change the story, add new characters, kill off old ones, or make any major plot...

This campaign is currently being massively rework. If you can, try the new version call Heir 2 the Throne on 1.19.
It probably does not solves all the issues you noticed and might even add a few, but it solves most of the former.

Hi all!
I played this scene on 1.8.5 in hard month ago and noticed some problems.

I interested in helping making this scenario better.
Few things that I find odd:
1.Why Bona Melodia calls Konrad "vile creature"?
2.Why there is a swamp in the cave?If it have a connection to outside, why Konrad and others didn't see that in Cliff of Thoria?

Hell, I found Liberty easier than HttT, even though it's listed as an intermediate campaign.
Wesnoth 1.3.8 (which is out now) contains some reworked scenarios for UtBS. I'll use this thread to discuss major changes and link to critical fixes for the campaign in general. I appreciate your feedback, and there's a few ways you can give it:
I just played through the 1.4.0-version.
Some oddities I observed:
The upkeep calculation is clearly defect ... I have about 30 units, and pay no upkeep, or so. When I recruit/recall additional units, I have to pay something, but in the next turn it is down to zero (or nearby).
Yes, you have now seen it all. If you remember the rogue mage idea in the art forum, here is a chance to see him in action (but not until later on in the campaign).
The name of the campaign is Liberty. It chronicles how a certain group of Wesnothians were betrayed by their ruler and decided to...
