So I found this campaign for Drakes and thought it would be interesting.
The Wose in the first two scenarios did not regenerate. I was not expecting this and had to go back and replay. I also looked at the unit description from the right click menu. It still says regenerate and no healing.

The story was as expected in a short scenario and the title says it all. Hard is very hard, and, in my opinion, the last battle is not possible on hard (see spoilers below). It is possible to do on easy mode.
