Interesting direction simplifying it down to one faction, but I’m curious how replayability holds up without unit advancement and with fewer mechanics. Have you considered adding some form of branching upgrades or choices on level up to keep variety?

I made a tool in the form of a web page that allows you to easily create your own era, factions and custom units, giving a lot of ease when waiting to make you custom faction with the default game sprites.
Game already uses every addon as one WML document (4.6MB for noncampaign mainline, 25.1MB for ageless). Importing such file would allow tool load any addon, and when exporting convert addons to consistent directory layout.

I think you have the wrong era and core...
could you maybe adjust the elvish hero line in the sense that you give him base dmg + 10% accuracy?
This unit is from the base game unit so it's modification is locked behind a lot of bureaucracy and MP balance disputes.
