I noticed that the main webpage and the forums use the old wesnoth logo, whereas the 1.0 announcement page uses Jetryl's new logo. The old logo does take up less space, which is nice, but I think the website design should be made consistant. Perhaps Jetryl's logo could be shrunken slightly for use...

I notice the banner shortcuts and wiki have gotten a reorg (presumably for the impending release of Wesnoth 1.0). It looks good, and I have a couple of ideas for further improvement (IMO):
* Rename the Play link to Manual . What is available under that link is, in essence, a manual for the game....
Here's an alternative that keeps the flavour of the original but spruces up certain aspects. The changes are subtle but numerous. In particular, the shaded sections, borders, menu links and pallette all got some attention.
