What if every, or almost every level 1 loyalist unit could alternatively upgrade to Lieutenant? That would give an interesting aspect to the Loyalist faction, and give them leadership a much greater amount of the time. (As they should? humans do seem like the ones most inclined to leadership...)

I was playing a multiplayer game against a few computers, and I noticed that when a wraith levels up, it loses any extra HP it had. Now, it makes sense for a wraith to go from 44/40 to 56/56 or however much HP a spectre has, but if I have a wraith with 70/40 and it levels up, it loses the 14 or so...

Just a simple thought, the undead don't have a 3rd level upgrade for the revenant. Fmunoz talked a long time ago about making a new 3rd level upgrade, but I doubt he is going to do that now. it is not fair to put all villages on the same defense level. for instance if i am with elves and have a village in a forest it is better to stai in the forest and not in the village, same thing wit drwaves and mountains.

Perhaps long discussed, but I don't see it: should one have the option to 'send home' units in the middle of a scenario? It would have to be restricted (to avoid e.g. sending home heavily wounded units about to die), perhaps, but seems a sensible possibility.
I just wondered... in some scenarios the leader is just confined to the keep to ensure reinforcements. In other situations you might be forced to flee from your keep to outrun the advancing army.

I can't see blue dots in the minimap unless looking 1 inch away from the monitor, and it's the default for player 2. I think it should be for player 5 or 6, so it would rarely be used. Red and green are quite visible.

I would like to see a new game option / modding option: Allow / Disallow saving the game while playing a campaign, so you would be able to save only, after you have won the scenario.
Also campaign makers should have this option as well, to allow/disallow saving in a particular campaign.
I think a troll should take the same amount of (real) time to move 5 hexes as a Gryphon Rider takes to move 9 hexes. Also I think units with charge attacks shuld move twice as fast when attacking.
The Ghost is a scout unit with almost equal melee and ranged attacks.
The Wraith is a scout unit with powerful draining melee and very low ranged attacks for its level.

These are units, that are not trained for war. They are very cheap to compensate for their ineffectivness. So you can easily recruit masses.
