I was thinking that moving to one end of the tunnel would automatically move the unit to the other end. Instead, it more like opens a portal that if you choose to move to the ending spot, it will use the tunnel, which makes sense in retrospect. I can use the [teleport] tags to accomplish what I want...

I see. Putting it in the prestart event made it work fine, but now I realize that tunnel doesn't actually work the way I thought it did. :doh:

New release of IAF postponed, because I received word of a game-breaking bug in it on the feedback thread. Unfortunately, I did not receive any details. :? Found the bug. I accidentally put the gold and recruit lists in the [ai] tags in those cases. I have fixed it in my version, but there are a couple more changes I need to make before I upload, so you'll have to wait 'til this afternoon. ;)

From what I remember, I can assure you it IS winnable, even on the 1.8 version (which, you are correct, needs much rebalancing). This is the strategy I usually use: 1.
