Re: Outsider Art for Bad Moon Rising
Aww! :) I agree with Mefisto on the dog: overall it looks good, but the paws lack definition. Canines have that classic four-pad whatsit-thingy on their feet, so you can try adding small bumps to show this. Also, dog claws can grow rather long if left unclipped, so whether or not you want this dog t...

Re: WML to place fog at x, y?
Looked at the clear fog macro. My problem is that most of the map has no fog. I just need one region near the middle to have fog. The terrain is all passable, so leaving fog clearing units all over the place really isn't an option. So start with fog, clear it on everywhere but the smoky places, and...

Re: New animations
For some reason, I thought my blocking deserved some sort of expansion upon. Um...he's punching southeast here right?
EDIT: As bonehead hasn't posted here for a while: (Excuse the odd colours, the GIF compression's being funny)

Once again, I'll mention the fact I'm a peanut gallery artist, and then I'll give you a 15-second click and drag of where I was thinking he'd be as he's striking. streeeeeetch.png EDIT: This might fuel your inspiration in some miscellaneous way...Just a suggestion of course, a punch that affects the...

Good god that chest is pillowed isn't it.
*feels rather stupid having to rush the sprite to the medical room when it's his own sprite*
Here's what came out.
@ shiremct: Thanks for the explanation. I tried to do that a little...probably failed.

Re: Art for Beyond Southern Hells
Oh crumbs 2 months necromancy aaargh *coughs* I'm redoing the entire purpose of the Eregath's Saberman line, so that they're not the equivalent of the Loyalists' 'riders with lightsabers' - they're now the most resistant of all the standard Eregath, bizarre construct monster things not included. Her...

Re: REQUEST - Clone horseman gallop to knight.
I'm among the interested people in seeing the horses and their new graphics upgraded to the point where they can actually be in-game! (Wait, are they? Did I miss something in the weeks I spent away from computer?) I'm having a few, er, scale gripes though. It seems to be that the knight is actually ...

Re: New animations
Um...well...it's not really very exagerrated at all to be honest (peanut gallery warning!). Bear in mind he's attacking from another hex, which is a distance of ~50-60px or something. And he'll be moving across that 50-60px at fairly high speed, so you'll need to be really concentrating hard to see ...

Re: TSI gets back into it: Drake Enforcer & Warden
I like the flame engraving on the halberd, but at first sight it looks like really bizarre, like some sort of random scratches. I have to look closely to see the pattern.

Re: TSI gets back into it: Drake Enforcer & Warden
I get a gold vibe from this, despite the fact you're aiming for bronze. Obviously take this with several pinches of salt, but I'd suggest going for a darkish brown overall with thick, orangey-brown highlights.
Then again my opinion counts for nothing whatsoever so...

Re: Reepurr's stuff: Rainforest shelter
There's no real limit on the orcs' crossbow technology, since they nick all their crossbows off unfortunate Loyalists. More specifically, the Slurbow uses a super-crossbow called an arbalest . *bothers to read the link* Shoulda Googled earlier, that does need some springyness in the area of the meta...

Surely you mean his torso armour.Kanapka wrote:you will see that the brown thing between the TC ribbon and his shoulderpad is the bulk of the crossbow. I think that's what makes the detachment effect.
@ Kraus: It probably could, actually. I'll draw another orientation later.
