Re: You've been playing Wesnoth too long when...
579. You have just finished your last game of wesnoth for the night, then you look through the window, notice that it is dawning and realize that in a short time you have to go to university (or work, school, college, or whatever your daily duty in the real life is) and that you've had yet another s...

I am going to check back, but if it goes another day or two, Im going to make a thread and ...

Re: Moderator ping_a
I've unlocked the topic so that the person challenged ( ping ) can answer for himself, which I find fair for both sides. After all in Mr_Evil's posts he wants an answer/debate with ping.

Invasion from the Unknown 0.9.1 on the add-on server
I've uploaded IftU 0.9.1 on the add-on server the same day Shadow Master announced it, but I forgot to post about it here and edit the announcement accordingly. Done now.

Wesnoth engine and WML are pretty flexible ( and thanks to Wesnoth's programmer team they are becoming more rich and flexible with time ) - they give an opportunity for many special scenarios and modes and I am sure that there are many undiscovered ways to (ab)use them in order to make even more ori...

Which version of wesnoth do you have? Everything looks and works fine for me both in trunk and on 1.3.12 - see the screenshot attached to this post. Since there have been many consecutive changes of the way the map borders were defined, it is possible that some things don't look right in some of the...

The bug with the sceptre getting stuck in cave wall in HttT's Sceptre of Fire has already been fixed in SVN and it should be no more in the next release. About the start of scenario saves being broken, that is a completely different bug and it is a known one - it has alreedy been worked upon. I woul...

If done properly ( and it has to be done properly in mainline ) it is a little more than just balancing - the maps would have to be updated to the latest map format, some obsolete WML might also have to be updated ( but that is where wmllint comes in handy ) the numbers in the ids, next_scenario= ke...

Re: We want the Valley of the Statues & Mountain Pass in
I've opened this issue on IRC dev channel and the reactions were mixed. Bringing Valley of the Statues and Mountain Pass back in HttT would mean reverting a previous developer decision so I wanted agreement from the others. Since there was no conclusion, at Soliton's suggestion I've added a poll to ...

Per request of some players who want a place to post and look for the replays of 2v2 games, I've revived this long dead thread and made it sticky. For a fresh start, here is a replay of a game on Clash on the latest development release ( 1.3.12 ). A funny game, interesting to observe. Our opponents ...
