Re: [EI] Captured - How is it possible?
The freed units are able to move immediately. If that's not the case for you, what version of Wesnoth are you using?

Re: Scenario 17: The Sceptre of Fire
I am playing Sceptre of Fire right now, and when I accidentally let Konrad die and tried to restart from the scenario start, I got an error message. I closed it too quickly and only remember something about a lua error during map generation; a few seconds later, I was taken to the credits. When I c...

Re: Small bug report? Terrain transitions
The off-map<->water transition should now finally be fixed. I'm not yet sure how to fix the chasm<->mountains problem properly, as it was caused by a fix to another issue (#1574).

Re: Revisiting Wesnoth unit descriptions
Also, "Wesnoth's sapient races" needs to be phrased differently.

Re: Problem moving "Heir to the Throne" to another folder.
If you really want to move it, then you also need to replace all instances of "campaigns/Heir_To_The_Throne" in its .cfg files.

Re: Removing racism from Wesnoth unit descriptions
Toning down for example the praise for elves as a race in their unit descriptions seems like a good idea, but I don't see why comparisons to other races should be avoided as such. If a race/unit is particularly good at something, then you can more efficiently communicate that by including a clear po...

Re: Scenario 8: The Princess of Wesnoth
I'm doin v1.14.0 on medium now. The scenario was much harder in 1.12 and 1.10. I'm missing reinforcements and the duelist from the cave. Are these changes intended? Yes. The Fencers and Duelist she now recruits should hopefully provide a more interesting challenge than the cave trap and surprise re...

Re: [UtBS] Name for Quenoth scout mounts
Of the suggestions so far, I think I personally like dustbok and perilope best. There's some others like ibynx which technically sound fitting, but seem like they'd be a bit clunky in practise, and I feel like a more mundane and easily flowing name would work better when they're mentioned to in dial...

Re: Lordbob's commissionned work: UtBS
She's a high priestess of sorts, so she shouldn't look particularly young, but she doesn't necessarily need to look ancient, either. The revised version seems good to me.

Re: Lordbob's commissionned work: UtBS
It's not important, but if I had to choose I'd rather retain the staff than not. As for variants, pretty much the only reason anyone would suggest it in the first place is because the very original portraits included a recolored Silver Mage variant. Without that, there wouldn't be any more reason to...

Re: Lordbob's commissionned work: UtBS
I don't think Elyssa's clothing/equipment is a problem. I mean, you would expect a lone survivalist mage wandering across post-apocalyptic deserts to look considerably different than a mage fresh out of the academy. Sure, if you only saw the portrait you might not guess her unit type is Red Mage, bu...

Re: Lordbob's commissionned work: UtBS
Yeah, just using the generic Naga Fighter portrait for the Naga Hunter seems like the best choice. I'm not even sure if it's possible for any of them to speak (in UtBS), anyway. Eloh and Garak are great. I think there's still something uncanny about Nym, but it's one of those things that's hard to e...
