I can't help but notice the rapidly escalating size: 1.0.2 was about 50MB, 1.1.1 was 65MB and now 79Mb for 1.1.2 (N.B. Theses comments are obviously particular to OS X but I would think the general point is still valid. I am surprised by how much larger these OS X builds are compared to other builds...

I don't have a replay - sorry. Nonetheless, I will try to replicate it. When I first played it again I got told to go to the main entrance and that was the correct place to go. This has made me doubt my reading skills the first time through. I am, nonetheless, 80% confident that I was told to go to ...

Re: Scenario Review: Dwarven Doors
(1) What difficulty levels and game versions have you played the scenario on? Medium, 1.1.1 (also 1.0.2) (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) Of itself, not so much - 3. But with the gotchas at the end it's a pain - see below. (3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives? Clear ...

The manual (and associated getting started guide and tactics guides) are in the process of being renovated. They contain much that is apocryphal or, at least, wildly inaccurate. Feel free to wander over to the Improved Manual and update the inaccurate or omitted parts.

What gamma do you have your monitor calibrated to? Alternatively, are you working on a Mac? Macs use a different gamma to most PCs (1.8 vs 2.2), this could be affecting different interpretations of how bright or otherwise your art is. Let me add that on my current monitor (a PC LCD that I haven't pa...

... though I'm never really sure if I'm actually getting things done when I lock threads. That's why I usually put up a disclaimer as well, allowing people to understand why I do it... It makes the world of difference. Unexplained lockings can easily lead to a perception of capriciousness, arbitrar...

The ambushes are random. I think it might be a better idea to randomly set down a bunch of guardian units with invisibility set during the prestart event. Then, it would be like a truer ambush. I like that idea very much. I doubt that would make players throw up their hands in frustration in quite ...

Crossroads 1.1.1 - too many ambushes
What determines the location of ambushes in this scenario? Is it pre-programmed or random. I ran into the eastern force around the crossroads sign. There were two ambushes immediately north of the crossroads sign. Trying to maneuver around to fight the eastern force triggered both of them. I could h...

Wesnoth Manual Pictures
I'm adding images to the manual and it seems the easiest way to do it is to post the images to a thread in the forums. Hence this thread. I haven't got a full list of images yet but one I would like is of the game screen with all the interface elements identified and numbered (I was imagining a high...

Right - how does this work? I've noticed there are a bunch of images already on the wiki - but how does one get new ones in there?irrevenant wrote:AFAIK, the Wesnoth wiki doesn't accept the upload of images, so we'll probably have to use the 'post it in a thread somewhere so the contrib-bot grabs it' trick.

Wes 1.1.1: Recall (opt/alt-r) on Mac OS X doesn't work
I don't seem to be able to use the opt-r quick key to recall units in 1.1.1
