Re: Level 0 Campaigns
And level 0 units against a lot of other stuff, later on. Though I do intend to add a level of recruiting a bunch of level 1 mercs for your recall list...Turuk wrote:Maybe not creatures, but the campaign A Fool's Errand has to do with using level 0 units against zombies? That seems to cover what you want.

Elves: Friendly or Bloodthirsty?
(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario? It was clear, but not interesting enough for the final mission. And having the elves turn on you after fighting together for several missions is not a good thing. Since elves are generally regarded as the least war...

Re: Resurection of Wesnoth Campaign
Yeah, you do see differently to me - the normal adept is, at absolute worst, a green-based dark grey. I always figured it was meant to represent black, given semi-realistic shading and dyeing capabilities (I don't know how expensive green dye is, but the DA can't even afford to get decent clothes if...

Re: Resurection of Wesnoth Campaign
Also, you know how a necromancer is captured in this campaign? I will use an alternative unit to the dark adept line for human necromancers that deals a lot less damage than the dark adept line, but has plague and leadership. Their image will appear the same as the corresponding unit in the dark ad...

Re: Undead Waters
It would work on 1.5.13.About the name ,Im not really done with it.But there will be mermen undead. Humans are lawful and become chaotic undead.First two scenarios will be done in1week max. and(I hope so )on the campaign server of 1.5.13. So what you're saying is that the Red Mage, Silver Mage, Arc...

Re: Undead Waters
Sounds decent, but... 1 - Normal Merfolk are Lawful, so you could do with maximising the day/night push by using non-undead merpersons if the plot in any way allows. Like, the merfolk are working willingly with a lich rather than mindless & reanimated by a lich. 2 - "Undead Waters"... ...

Re: Scenario Review: LoW 23 - End of War
Point B conceded, though maybe we should take this to PMs. I guess I wasn't paying enough attention to the plot or something. As for point C... The "for no reason at all" referred not to Landar's taking of the double dose, but to Landar, while under the double dose, attempting to kill his ...

Re: Scenario Review: LoW 23 - End of War
1) The campaign as a whole wasn't bad difficulty-wise, although I will probably replay on Hard at some point. 2) It wasn't so much that I felt cheated of magic attacks, as that the plot never gives any kind of explanation for why Kalenz turns into an Elvish Lord after drinking the potion and Landar ...

Re: Scenario Review: LoW 23 - End of War
(1) What difficulty levels and what version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on? Medium 1.5.13 (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 3, never really any question that I'd win (3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives? Clear as day (4) How clear and interesting did you f...

Re: Scenario Review: LoW 22 - Northern Battle
(1) Medium 1.5.13 (2) 4 if you know Landar's going to flee like a coward. (3) Clear; survive or kill, standard survival mission. (4) Clear, but not very interesting. I wanted a word explaining what Kalenz has done to let Landar get away with calling him a traitor, maybe outright stating (again) Land...

wmllint doesn't fix terrain codes in 1.5.12
I was updating Ken Oh's old "Despair and Decay" for my personal use. I ran into a little problem with wmllint not even noticing the map files, but that's solved. What isn't solved is that it hasn't updated the old terrain letters to the new terrain codes. Since I have no idea what the old ...

Re: Any way to auto-update maps?
Already used it on the campaign I was updating. It didn't touch the maps. Maybe I should add ".map" to the end of each file?
EDIT: Tried this. It works fine now. /thread

Any way to auto-update maps?
Having used the search function, I found no threads pertaining to any way of automatically updating 1.2 maps. Does there exist any tool with which to do so?

Re: Wonder if you could take down Godzilla? I do.
I wouldn't go as far as saying it had to be futuristic to skirt Godzilla restrictions. Abilities-wise, a Drake Clasher is basically a drake that can't fly or breathe fire; abilities-wise, Godzilla is basically a bipedal dragon without wings. Which brings me to point the second. Wesnoth is Medieval-e...

Re: Outlaws!
Still a professional with the knives. Even if he's not a mental genius, at least the scars in his face should have thought him something about respecting sharp blades. Looking again I have to agree with you about the unsheathed dagger, but while a sheath for it wouldn't dampen the coolness factor v...
