Re: Requesting Editor Artwork
No, I was referring to the menu- and dialog buttons (such as "File", "Map", ... and "Scroll To", "Close").

Re: Requesting Editor Artwork
It doesn't seem that anyone else is having this problem. However, when looking at this screenshot (posted in Creating multiplayer scenarios with the map editor by fabi), the new icons seem to me to be too bright and colorful. They consist of very bright, shiny blue and yellow colors, which conflict ...

The registration on the wiki is currently disabled due to a massive spam attack. Until that is resolved, it is not possible to register new accounts.mattsc wrote:Create a wiki account and do it. As simple as that. Nobody will complain about somebody helping with documentation.

Re: variables and other things in campaigns
Cloning to a custom one (or, rather, two custom ones in this case) would be a better way to go. Using trewe's method, the player would get to select from two advancements, and if he selects 'Poacher', he gets an Archer. That's not very nice towards whoever plays your campaign ;) For the AI, this cou...
Re: Wiki spam
Thanks for noticing that one, cKomuHKa! It seems to have come from the English page when the translation was created (copy-pasted and partially changed), from where it already has been removed. On this version, however, the link stayed. Regarding the other spam pages, it is hard to deal with them. T...

Re: The problems I have with Wesnoth
That's right and perfectly rational, but IMO it is a communication problem and what you say can't solve it. It's the common inside/outside situation: people inside and outside have different points of view. From inside, many things are known and obvious to you, which are hidden to people outside, w...

Re: The problems I have with Wesnoth
I think one of the big things about Wesnoth (and a lot other open source project, for that matter) which, as I think, was not stressed enough, is: There is not "the developers" as apposed to "the users", but everyone has the ability to become a developer, and contribute his own i...

Re: russian wiki translation (messed up english pages)
The wiki user talk page would be better than the page's talk page, because you (should?) get a pretty visible notification if somebody writes on your talk page. :) That being said; Marsianen (hoping you will see this thread sooner or later), I rolled back all your edits which you did to other pages ...

Please look for the appropriate topics before posting. This is the second post of yours in less than two days in which you are starting a new post instead of first looking.
I locked both of them, as you also asked in the respectively correct topics now.

The 1.10 add-on server is the one of the 1.9 cycle, and has not been renamed since. So, http://addons.wesnoth.org/1.9/ are the add-ons for 1.10.
