Doc: I'd like to mention that in my case, it's more that I have yet to find a good drakes player in 1v1s. For example, I believe Gallifax is a very good 1v1 player, yet even he has a lot of trouble with drakes (as shown by those 2 loyalist vs drake films I posted) Or put another way, I feel like I'v...

Doc: I'd be very interested in playing you 1v1. What time(s) are you on? The reason why I say it is because I've yet to come across a great 1v1 drakes player. I've been looking for one, but... Every good player I find seems to have mastered a several factions, and are decent with others - but nobody...

Oh nebula, here's a drake vs knalgan victory I played today on blitz (random v random). Blitz offers some manuever due to the huge lake in the middle which knalgans can't cross. Basic strategy was to wipe out the army on one side, then charge in and assassinate the king. Note I defintely got lucky a...

Doc: sablestone delta. There's lots of castles on the map, and castles beside villages. Faction balance is very much based on maps, and there are several maps were drakes are at a disadvantage in 1v1s. In fact, in 1v1s, I would argue that it's impossible to choose drakes so your opponent trains coun...

Alright I thought some time to think about this some more, and this is the conclusion I came to. I offer these for discussion. I would appreciate any response, even ones which completely disagree with what I say . In theory, aragwaith are awesome. They would be a faction which does high damage and h...

Truper: I'm not that good at explaining what I mean I guess. I understand that Aragwaiths hit harder but have less HP. My complaint is that a quick archer has a 25% chance of dying to a single unit attacking it like the orcish grunt due to 23HP. even Quick/strong only has 24 which is still in the ki...

Just a few comments/suggestions: I admit my comments may be potentially biased due to the fact I'm primarily playing survivals, where you often face tier2s and 3s rather than 1s. Aragwaith The faction is really interesting in how inter-linked their units are wizards heal and do damage, flagbearers p...

I came to the same conclusion you did nebula. In fact, I don't think it's possible to beat knalgans with drakes on a small map. On a big map you get the ability to outmanuever, seize villages, and assassinate kings, but small maps don't leave you that option. I did a game vs a great player where I c...

played it again beat it, and the replay is corrupted again. Here's the replay which corrupts on turn 26. I believe it corrupted on turn 26 because I loaded the autosave. I had accidentally charged the chaos king forward, which would be suicide since the wave comes on turn 28. If the replay could be ...

well, units level quite fast with the items though :) Personally, I found that the elvish bow is only good on either elvish archers into marksman, or drake burners (quick/resilient ideal). It increases # of attacks by +2, and increases damage by +5. So given to something like a ghost or elvish rider...
