Edwylm's sprite alterations the peasants are revolting my lord
While I continue to work with the salamanders here is another work I am currently working on, i'm quite surprised this wasn't done earlier by other users but here they are. peasants_all.png The plan is to enhance the peasants and give them tools/weapons appropriate. Peasants have a wide range of too...

Re: Edwylm's sprite alterations
Its been a while since I have posted in here. after taking a while away from wesnoth I have started to work on sprite altering and more wesnoth stuff. There are several sprite projects I am wanted to work on. First I have been working on the altering of the salamander sprites that inferno8 has made ...

Re: Pilauli's Art
The wose are mysterious but I'll pick at some statements from the unit descriptions that might help. wose unit "The motives and workings of their kind are unknown, though most subscribe to the obvious theory that woses are dedicated wardens of the natural world. " elder wose unit "Wos...

Re: Pilauli's Art
Its decent however i would suggest filling in empty space between the arm and the back with dark brown/green to give a appearance of canopy shade. Also try adding a little more foliage to the left side feels a little bare to me. As of suggestions for names; Wose caregiver, custodian, listener. curre...

Re: Obscured Folklore Era
Hello Tom01 I am pleased that you enjoy the era. Its been a while since I have dedicated much time to updating it, I haven't abandoned it just been busy in irl and with other projects Wesnoth related and non-Wesnoth related. Currently my interests in Wesnoth has increased and I have been doing more....

Re: Wesnoth Fauna
suggestions; possible strips for the throat or the body? it would break up the 2 color scheme making it more interesting. possible crests or head ornaments Also the tail needs a longer "paddle" portion than the current portrait shows. As it is now it would suggest that this creature is not...

Re: Wesnoth Fauna
The salamander would need to be edited to make its colors be better against the background. example if its too dark.
(its a bit too bright now in this sprite along with it should look more lavaish if it lives in lava.)- August 16th, 2020, 8:38 pm

Re: Grand Portrait List - 2020 update
concerning my thoughts about female/male variants It is all well and good but isn't that it needs to be lore friendly? I'm sure there is a simple code you could add in into the campaigns to explain such details. Example I can't see orc women being sent to fight in battles until they create a culture...

Re: Expanding The Great Continent - [Dunefolk Habitat]
Do we really need orcs south ? Like, could not there be simply no orcs here ? Not having orcs in the south is a wasted opportunity to display the orcs as a more sophisticated faction as the raider hungry orcs depicted in most campaigns in the north so far. Having friendly orc tribes collaborating w...

Re: Expanding The Great Continent - [Dunefolk Habitat]
Do we really need orcs south ? Like, could not there be simply no orcs here ? That is what we are currently trying to figure out. currently if we want to have orcs we need to know how/when they got to the south and some basic info. i'm 50-50 on the idea of orcs in the south. Good news! I've been re...

Re: Expanding The Great Continent - [Dunefolk Habitat]
Concerning the drake orc relations another aspect is how the orcs view drakes? have orcs dealt with dragons before or not? If the orcs first met drakes is it possible these orcs might view them as godlike or just an animal? this might help determine relations. However having orcs warriors using this...

Re: Expanding The Great Continent - [Dunefolk Habitat]
Well when you consider that exterminated would include women and children, typically when extermination happens those on the receiving end will hold that grudge Yes, of course. But how long will they hold that grudge? It's not impossible for it to be passed down from generation to generation, but i...

Re: Expanding The Great Continent - [Dunefolk Habitat]
I can see that however having the elves be exterminated would cause issues and there be 0 chances of elf and saurian friendship. I don't think that needs to be true. Just because their distant ancestors killed each other doesn't mean they can't get along now. Which from what I see from both CM and ...

Re: Expanding The Great Continent - [Dunefolk Habitat]
Obviosly those will be needing a lot of Lore background which is not the goal of what I am doing here. If that was subject to one of the coming dunefolk campaigns ... then yeah sure. I'll make Drakes generally hostile to everyone. My biggest problem is that I have close to no knowledge about Drake ...
