Re: Jukebox Tab

Failing that, you can always just convert the music files to .mp3s and open them in iTunes or whatever. I used Studio Max; it's good and free.

Re: Woodmouse's sprites

What Frogger5 said, and also, as it is, the movement is a little...bland. If it's spitting the mud, how about giving it a huge windup where it pulls back and opens its mouth wide before swinging forward again to spit? That could look very nice. Having it rise up as it pulled back would be good, too...

Re: Outsider Art for Bad Moon Rising

...I'm not sure--I see breasts, and hips. I'm not sure that he's going for the stereotypical scantily-clad well-endowed game-female here. On the actual images: something feels off about her right arm; I think maybe it's squeezed in too close with her body..? Her left hand is kind of small, too. For ...

Re: The User Art Topic

O-oh my god Welcome back, Turuk! Back on topic: aside from what Turuk mentioned, something strikes me as strange about the contrast between the "sideburns" and the short fur on the top of the head; the one looks very rough, almost like twigs, while the other looks almost like shiny rubber....

Re: Some sketches

Oh my, I do like that Wose. Good take on it, I would say c: Maybe if you sharpened up the face a little, though? Especially the eyes look a little undefined to me, almost blurry. Similarly, the bark on the trunk still looks rather smooth to me, almost like a fish's scales... Anyway, keep going! This...

Re: Favorite freeware game

Unless I'm reading this wrong, Alien Assault also has dedicated advertisers! ;) Contrary to my usual habits, I haven't been playing many free games recently, and I'm actually planning to buy(!) some games in a few weeks. I tried WET, but it always took hours to download all the patches required to g...

Re: KISS

Alas, I have never played Robotron.
From what I have heard (and read during a quick search just now ;)), it does sound like very much the sort of thing I was thinking of, though. Thanks!

Re: Art for Bad Moon Rising, again : outlaws

I rather like the idea, actually--this sort of semi fourth-wall breaking humor floats my boat, as it were ;) Then again, I liked Melon's innertube-fairy, and equipped my own cavalrymen with hobby-horses, so I might not be the most balanced judge on this matter. On the portrait...something feels stra...

As silly as this may sound...if someone actually made that, and it was still fun? I would love to see that ;)

Re: What is everyone's favorite movie at the moment?

Back on topic (I guess ;)), I watched Night Watch last night...good movie. Looking forward to getting Day Watch from Netflix soon.

Re: KISS

...actually, if the framerate was sped up a little that one would be rather fun, in my opinion.
As it is, though, it does get rather tedious ;)

Thanks for the link!

Re: What is everyone's favorite movie at the moment?

Mmm, I don't watch movies too much.... Three Days of the Condor was quite good, though. Very tightly directed (except for the obligatory love scene--I recommend you fast forward through it, actually. It is the only pointless scene in the entire movie, and as such it makes me sad). And then there is ...

...I keep forgetting about this thread. http://sce.inkwash.net/uploads/gallery/lg/img103.jpg </stupidtouhoujoke> Edit: so...still trying to get the hang of digital painting. I think my main problem is that drawing on the computer makes me feel like banging my head against the wall (hence the unfinis...

Re: What are you reading right now?

I always figured the point of this thread was to learn a little more about the other folks on this forum, maybe find some people who've read the same stuff you like, that sort of thing--and to tell others about yourself. Kind of like Twitter for those of us who are still too stuck up/introverted/wha...

Re: Intentionally silly campaign: Shameless Crossover Excuse

It could well be that, although he wasn't the first to use it, he was the one who made it popular. In any case, though, I'm not sure how...relevant this is to the topic at hand. It was a little bit of a thread-necromancy (in a number of ways ;)), and maybe should be split off--I'm not entirely sure ...
