Re: Ageless Era - Current Version: 4.10
Laviathan, which comes out of the seaturtle line, I am not sure of which faction but its earlier stages say "era of the future", it is the level 4 stage: When I try to read its help/info file, it says " Parse error when parsing help text: 'corrupted original file' " This is with ...

Re: How do I compile/install 1.10.1 for ubuntu 11.04?
Where did you get it from then? Where does the downloaded repository come from? Where did you find the code lines or how did you figure them out?

What addon is cutthroat in?
I was viewing a 3 player map where players fought each other, but also independent units spawned at regular intervals, it described itself as "cutthroat" but no such add-on was found when I used search function of add-ons. So what name should I search for if I want play it?

How do I compile/install 1.10.1 for ubuntu 11.04?
Because I have a older version of ubuntu, and perhaps because ubuntu version of 1.10.1 isn't even out yet, I want to try a manual install (I want to see/use all the new stuff, and 1.85s lobby is starting to look a little empty) I believe this is called "compiling from source". How do I do ...

Re: Problem with alt-tabing in linux
I didn't understand alot of that shadowmaster, are you a developer then? I would mention again that alt-tab works with other full screened programs. If I go the the ubuntu people with this, it seems likely that they will blame it on wesnoth. I am using gnome, no unity. window manager’s controls How ...

Re: Problem with alt-tabing in linux
You can change resolution in fullscreen mode. Preferences (ctrl+p)-> Display-> Change Resolution. I just explained the problem with changing resolutions, there isn't any good ones because of a display problem, please reread my OP. Having to press ctrl f twice and alt tab or click on manager every t...

Problem with alt-tabing in linux
Ubuntu 11.04 64bit, wesnoth 1.8.5 When you are in full screen in wesnoth, you can not alt tab out of the game or minimise the game. If you set the game to windowed mode, what you see depends on the resolution. If I set the resolution to my screen size, 1920 x 1080, the bars on the top and bottom of ...

Re: For linux version:Option to choose where userdata is loc
Well, in the mean time of actual menu, what about a quick link that one can click to implement the change or a command line (that gets remembered) If a command line, perhaps one simple enough to simply remember. As far as your commands, I will try them. But between updates of wesnoth, and updates of...

Re: For linux version:Option to choose where userdata is loc
A quick question, does the manual way of installing linux wesnoth even support a separate userdata location? Also, the installation can't start before the downloads have happened (and certainly the prompts can't occur before this), thus it would be still in the middle, if we consider the whole proce...
