Re: Legend of the Invincibles
The damage decrease is related to the reduction in suck I have done. Oh, I did not realize that was still ongoing. That changes the whole campaign a lot. Would it be possible to give (read) access to the git/mercurial/other that you are using, to share the current development version of LotI? We co...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
As far as I know, there are only two units that can naturally use 3 weapons - Prophet and Exterminator. Exterminator uses dagger, scythe, knife. Prophet only uses sword and lance, but can carry a staff (quoting items.cfg: "exception to the rule"). He can carry a mace only if he advanced f...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Chapter 3 again. 08 Lost. (...) Btw, I am trying to see if having unlimited turns in that scenario gives the player the possibility of massively levelling all units. It is possible, but lengthy. It is difficult to avoid killing at least a Lich (one will probably kill the other). Drakes and Trolls a...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Chapter 3 again. 08 Lost. When we wake up one or two liches, they start attacking the undead of side 9 or attacking each other. It is a bit surprising that the Lich does not direct its anger at the party that awoke it. Btw, I am trying to see if having unlimited turns in that scenario gives the play...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Another AI oddity in chapter 3: 02 Journey South. If we help the necromancer gal, we can end with lots of allied undead (her former minions). These undead stay immobile when there is no known enemy, and start moving in the direction of the enemy once it is known. It would be more realistic if they f...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
About Thirst for Adventures, I've had a simpler idea than moving the Lich to the east: having the friends arrive when the Lich is dead and the town is seen!
On the ability to resist temptation, I would call it asceticism.

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
An issue with scenarios3/01 Thirst for Adventures. When playing straightfully by first killing all will o wisps then all bandits then meeting the town and then killing the lich, everything goes fine. But if I take some time killing the will-o-wisps using only the low-level units to make them gain xp...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Endless item swapping is fruitless and boring and reduces the amount of fun brought by playing the game. My approach is to limit the possibilities to swap items. That's why it's taking items from inventory to units is limited to the first two turns and units on keeps. In fact, you don't need to rec...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Hello everyone, I have started to play LotI a second time, and I noticed something annoying, but which may be on purpose: just before the end of a scenario, one may want to recall a few units that will not be useful for the next scenario, just to remove some equipment that will have a better use on ...

I agree that at some point, when there will be more examples, making the differe...
