Re: Tranlate to Persian (Farsi)
Right now Espreon is on vacations. To start a new translation I need to know some things: 1) Do you need a special font or do things work with DejaVu Sans? If you need a special font you will have to find a suitable one first. 2) What is the locale code for Farsi? For traditional Chinese it is zh_TW...

Re: Which version to translate?
Fixed in master: http://git.io/YWkPPA . However, I'm undecided if this fix should be backported to 1.10 or not, because we don't have current plans for a 1.10.7 release, and this may cause OoS problems if a fixed version plays against a non-fixed version. :hmm: Does that mean that translators shoul...

Re: F5 button to reload data does not seem to work in 1.11.2
Are you sure that the hotkey is not caught by your desktop environment? Meaning: If you are in fullscreen, does it work then? If it does then it is most likely the windowmanager not piping the chars to the game...

Re: Thesis on video game localization
Thank you very much for your responses. This has been very helpful! @ivanovic We use different capitalization when talking to the player in front of the screen and when characters talk among themselves. Could you give an example and explain why exactly? This is very interesting. Sorry, the last tim...

Re: Thesis on video game localization
(1) I noticed that sometimes the German and Dutch translations are very similar. Why? Did the translator speak both German and Dutch perhaps? Example: (ENG) Let them come. We will fight them with all we have! (GER) Kommt nur, verruchtes Söldnerpack. Wir werden Euch schon zeigen, aus welchem Holz di...

Re: Wesnoth 1.11.2

He created the release announcement, cleaned up the bugtracker after it was done and handled the downloads page in the wiki (in addition to his normal developer contributions). Without his help you would not see the announcement today but i...
