Re: Lolman?
On my local copies, I often change the unit name listings and add other self-made names, names from popular culture, people that I know, people on the forums, or even myself. I once killed Gambit (a footpad) with a certain heavy infantryman named Terminator. Unfortunately I kinda uninstalled 1.6.3 ...

Re: Leveling up
I think I know what he means - he wants to know how to replay the scenario without having to start again and thus losing all of his units. What you need to do is go into the load screen and look for a save that looks like this <levelname>replay.gz this will start you off at the beginning of the scen...

Re: Wesnoth Tactics: Strategical Cardgame
I really like the style of the cards, I think that they look very professional. Unfortunately I don't think I can dedicate any time to it at the moment but I will be able to help in about 3-4 months.

Re: Question: Can The AI Be Manipulated?
Thanks both of your for your posts. Would I be able to apply these tags to the different ai leaders. For example to make one really defensive and the other really offensive?
Thanks in advance

Question: Can The AI Be Manipulated?
I would like to know if you can set certain parameters for the ai, for example can I make it more aggressive or more defensive? Also it it possible to tell it to split its troops to attack two different points on the map and maybe define a ratio of fighters, scouts and archers that will be sent to e...

Re: Wagon overhaul
I don't think he was offended. About the horses though, the horses in those sprites are warhorses, wouldn't just old horses pulling a cart (which might even be mules) be smaller then strong thoroughbred warhorses? [offtopic]Maybe I just read the tone incorrectly.[/offtopic] I would have assumed tha...

Re: Wagon overhaul
Is it just me or does the cart seem to be done in a different style to the horses? The wagon seems to be rather "clinical" whereas the horses look more natural. Perhaps it's because I haven't finished shading the cart, and the horses are just placeholders until I can add the new mainline ...

Re: New campaigns?
I have plenty of ideas, but no way top transfer them into a tanglible form, because i have zero programming experience. If I was capable, I would totally make my own campaigns, however I am not. So if some one wants to take on this task then I would be more then willing to help in anyway possible. ...

Re: Telaron's try at making an art portrait
Okay. he looks a little old because I shaded his cheeks a bit. maybe I'll remove that. See what it looks like without it. Get back to you in a day or so. Ok, he is very impressive nonetheless and please don't worry about time as I am currently quite busy so I am only looking over the current...

Re: Why so many versions?
You have to think of wesnoth like a tree with two branches. The even numbered branch (currently 1.6.x) grows slowly. It only gets bug fixes and new graphics. Most everyone plays this. It is the "stable" branch. 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, and soon 1.8 were all "stable". The other branch is t...

Re: Telaron's try at making an art portrait
Thank you Telaron, I think he may look slightly too old but he is certainly better than the portrait I have at the moment.
