Re: Art for Era of the West
The whipper is based off a level 2, but meant to be a level 1, so perhaps that could appreciate some resizing, the level 2 is based off the level 1, so its probably OK. I'll try resizing the level 0. Out of curiosity, where are you seeing the blurriness worst? Torso, arms, legs?

Re: Art for Era of the West
Is this more along the lines of what you meant? I tied giving it the same treatment I gave the arms before to give it a more rounded look (hopefully not pillowed )

Re: Art for Era of the West
Ok, thanks, I'll try and fix that. Also attached is the flats for the slave, a level 0 unit. I'm not sure on the sandals but they should do for now.

Re: Art for Era of the West
Alright, I think that's fixed, attached the image. Changed some of the metal colours as well so that the hilights were brighter.

Re: Art for Era of the West
Is this any much better? I stopped most of the really bright colours from touching the edge (not all though). I think its somewhat better. He's meant to be wearing a breastplate on his torso...

Re: Art for Era of the West
OK, fully shaded the driver (minus the whip). I'm gonna move onto the whipper now using the driver for reference (I've done one, the second should be easy...right? )
Here it is... Boots cribbed from bandit et al.

If you have the sound font as your default you could always try timidity.

Re: Art for Era of the West
Tried shading the face and hair, as thespaceinvader said it would be easier to visualise like that, still not completely sure, but thats why I'm posting it -- for critique
To me it seems like its one half light, the other dark, not sure how easily I can fix it though...

Art for Era of the West
I'm making a small era called the era of the west, with 2 factions planned (potentially a third). These two factions have given me 28 images to do, which feels somewhat managable (although above-all, the reason I am doing this is to improve myself in art). I was planning on keeping it to myself unti...

Re: Does Battle for Wesnoth has an upgrade system?
Won't work, WML has been changed as well as folder names (in fact, in svn they seem to not even use .wesnoth1.x anymore)Cybermouse wrote:It might be possible to simply copy your entire add-on directory over to the new version. That just might work, but I haven't tried it.

Re: main theme - revisited
(Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) Doesn't midi just use the system-sound font? In that case if you have a different sound-font installed then doesn't that mean that those instruments wouldn't play?

Re: really bad voodoo
I'd like to help, but I have a couple of questions and commends first.I assume you're using photoshop, but feel free to correct me. Also, I selectively used the "clothify" and the "emboss" thing from Gimp on her clothing (but I still have the cloth without) was this a mistake? Y...

Re: Self-healing dwarves
To elaborate upon Velensk's point, the healthy trait will always heal a unit +2 at the start of each turn, regardless of whether they've moved, or attacked.
