Ladder of Wesnoth: Friends list (new script)
Hello, i spent my lunch break to quickly write up a new ladder member script as i found the old one does not work anymore, becaus my preferences file uses a new format (with square brackets). Details and current code on github: https://github.com/hbeni/wesnoth-ladder-friends (you just need a bash in...

Re: Wenoth board game released (yet again!)
Cool! Our experience when playing was, that the stats got relatively fast into memory since there are not so much units. It is alot more easy if you don’t play alone because you can quickly ask your ally (so in theory both just need to know half the stats). Did you print out the players card we made...

Re: Wenoth board game released (yet again!)
Just to note, i found a bug recently with the nahe attacks. Swings and damage was swapped and of course meant the way the original game concept did it. The source material was updated recently. Meanwhile i also made some predefined maps in A3 paper size, for two and four players. Further playtesting...

Re: [solved / works as designed] Multiplayer refreshing delayed
We played LoW and there was no shroud. This explains, why it has been so obvious visible; in normal multiplayer one usually changes fog of war, so units movements get synced more often. It would be cool tough if all moves would be synced, and also the undone ones, so the other players can follow mor...

[solved / works as designed] Multiplayer refreshing delayed
Hello, playing on the multiplayer server today with a friend i noticed, that my friend could'nt see most of my moves instantly. They were delayed to when fight happens, at least it looked like this. Is this known already, is this an error or expected behaviour? How can i enforce directly updating my...

Wenoth board game released (yet again!)
Hello everybody, my son and i had the idea to make another attempt at an wesnoth board game version, and just a few minutes ago, i uploaded the result to github. The result is already playtested alot and i think it catches the spirit quite well. => https://github.com/hbeni/wesnothBoardGame (don't be...

Re: Multiplayer Replay Analysis
Just to discuss the wulfs, i recruited them for vision, so i can prepare better off mounted units arrive. The many archers were to defend against hi and mounted and also to give me more flexibility due to two different attack types...

Re: Multiplayer Replay Analysis
Thank you sergey, much appreciated. I can see the mistakes more clearly now.
Thanks also for posting, i really was unsure if the replay file was corrupt or just working on my machine.

Re: Multiplayer Replay Analysis
Hello, i recently played a matchup where i got beaten up as orc by loyals. There at the basilisk map i made some serious errors but i can't really figure out what exactly was wrong. The tactical decisions made sense to me and i tried to play after some priorities. My overall intent was to hold the w...

Re: Scenario Review: SotBE 10 - Saving Inarix
(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on? Wesnoth 1.14.9; Warrior difficulty (the medium one) (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) would give a 5. The first few tries unwinnable (without lossing Inarix). When i switched to wolf rider tactics to...
