I like the idea, but as Edwylm mentions, maybe he should have a pick as a weapon on top of the torch (so attack 1 pick pierce, attack 2 torch fire). Not sure about the net anyway. It would be a mix of the Torchbearer (Children of the Dust) and the Miner. As an ability, I like Edwylm idea of skirmish...

I think you could try to test this by making an add-on that would be HttT but with your AMLA system. As you both mentioned, this is a campaign where you end with a lot of lvl-3 units, so it would be easy to see if feeding XP to several super-units would unbalance the campaign. My two cents : OK for +-1 damage or +-10% chance to hit for elevation difference (rather the latter) whatever the total difference. Same for ranged and melee. MAGICAL and MARKSMAN cancel that. I think in this specific case, it would be OK to have two attacks with a damage_type each. Like if you could turn on/off the amulet.

Only bumping into this threat because of the new reply, but wouldn't the rating depend on the level of the player? A good player might rate a level differently than a bad player.

This is not a bug. Only heroes (meaning only the leader in the first scenarios) have an inventory and can pick up items. It is explained at the end of the start dialog and in the help menu.

If you want to change the team color, you just have to had color= inside the [side] in each scenario or modify it if it is already there.
For example, here is the first scenario a Two Brothers but with purple and green as colors. I simply added color=purple in side 1 and color=green in side 2

Probably spears and javelins if they are saurians. They can also have a spear and a small shield.
Otherwise they could have maces or bows.

The items say damage increases by 3% but actually the damage is much higher when compared to fists. Ah I see what you mean. Ok so the problem is how I phrased the thing. The behavior you see is the normal one. Io has actually several "variations" based on the melee weapon he has equipped....

I would advocate my campaign Legends of Idaamub. It fulfills 1. About 2, it depends what you mean with ultra-powerful: they get better and better gear that increase their stats and mages get new spells. Not sure about 3 and it is not multiplayer. And most of all, it is not complete yet (22 scenarios...
