Do note that it's a bit unlikely that anyone's willing to work on this any further. If someone volunteers, then fine, but at least I'm not. ;) I gave it a shot and it didn´t work. Oh well, it´s true, the old head does very little justice to her great new body, but I guess we can live with that. :)

Re: Variations on an Elvish Theme

Epic, evocative, powerful but not "in your face".

FWIW, thumbs up.

You mean the .PNGs with the huge bag? There ya go. Yeah, I said I was done with it, but when people actually do something to improve things it encourages me to keep on working. Not surprisingly, useless talk has the exact opposite effect. :augh: Isn't that kind of a hazard for an artist? It makes co...

This is a quick edit, I'd probably want to add a few more frames where the thief bounces the bag a little, and maybe make the bag a different color than the clothes, but I'll see what response this gets first. Good, that´s all I ask for, a little less talking and a little more working. I really ap...

Then you´re free to make and edit to "thief_idle_6.png" and "thief+female_idle_6.png" and post the results, I´m done with it.

Did you know that [...] and thus the color association was born, despite it being completely off. Yup, there are many good reasons to associate pink with women, but it´s true that it all comes down to a series of cultural and historical conventions. asking just to be sure... is she scratching her ...

Ok it´s done, packed and ready to go. 8)

Correct sequence included. It´s a little tricky so extra care must be taken when committing these.

Jetryl wrote:Redeth - looks nice, actually. Please post the PNGs - I think that baby's commit-worthy. :)
Should I work on the female version as well? I could make some minor modifications to differentiate it, like changing the color of the bag/pouch to pink

Re: Extended Era Astral blade icon

I have no idea who made it, but is there any particular reason is hasn't been commited? Or were the art developers just not aware of its existance? I remember that one. :) We messed up badly with it, and of course it is not up to standard Wesnoth icons, but I´m still quite fond of it, because it w...

Portraits ´n stuff for beginners

Ok, the idea is to learn some basic skills of computer drawing and painting through the process of careful observation, editing and frankensteining of existing portraits . This could be helpful not only to beginner artists who are yet unable to draw and color decent portraits from scratch by themsel...
