String change suggestion
I didn't find an appropriate thread for this, so please feel free to move.
In the Heir to the Throne campaign, there's a string that should be solit into singular and plural

You are definitely making progress
I have never done any spriting myself, but I think it might look better if the outline wasn't pure black.

Re: Becoming a translator?
Hello and welcome!
Do you have any experience with software translation? I find it always best to start with the short strings, so you can get your terminology sorted out. e.g. for units, do the unit names first and the descriptions later.

Re: Polar Fauna
The top right furry thing could have an ambush skill, hiding under rocks or something. Maybe some venomous spit as a ranged attack?

Re: New bigmaps: UMC needs
The maps look absolutely great
One thing that cost me a lot of time when localising the current maps was that I had to manually place & match the parchment for the labels. If you use something like that again, a layer with the labels in place would be a great help.

If you're on Windows, you could also try the magnifying glass, that's somewhere in the Control Panel.

Re: Dutch ImageLocalization Revisited
I did mine with 2.8.2 and it worked. I did notice though that some things were a bit different fro the description. I had never worked with Gimp before though, so I have no idea why yo are having a problem.

Yes
I wonder if it would look even better if you move "Wesnoth" just a tick to the right.

I think it means: make the light areas a bit more yellowish and the shaded areas a bit more blueish.Crow_T wrote:Also, please explain "hue shifting."
