unless the racename is used extensively elsewhere that I'm forgetting about, In the last thread, someone said the race name might be used by the name generator for spawned units. As they are now the dunefolk do not fit wesnoth. They are a purely human, magic less, historically themed faction inserted into a fantasy setting. Apparently I'm late to the party, but I have a few things I want to say... Do keep in mind that this thread only concerns a candidate to become the seventh mainline multiplayer faction and not replacing the UMC Khalifate faction (which it is already beginning to diverge from with this name change)....

Please run the Dunefolk versus Southerners poll separately and first though: Dunefolk Southerners Then if Dunefolk wins, that would be the time to run Dunefolk versus Dunelanders : Dunefolk Dunelanders Otherwise you risk spliting the "Dune" vote so that Southerners wins unfairly.

I agree with the factions themselves and how they are built. (Thats one of the reasons im not a fan of Khalifate.) I dont want drastic changes, i dont want to add new units etc. but some matchups are just so ridicilously one sided it hurts. Loyalist vs Knalga is the best example. It's a nightmare. ...
