Ok, it's set in the future, and the players are a group of recruits into the Union (a major galactic power).

PC:

I fire at the soldier.

GM:

He ducks, firing at you.

PC:

I dive to the side, firing back.

GM:

The soldier drops dead, a bullet in his gut.

On assasination I got game over one turn before i reached the Snipers Perch.

I thought that when you die you don't die - merely take critical wounds. There should be a potion or spell to revive you.

Third, I wonder why plague doesn't work on a guy in a village? Gameplay, I think. If you plague a unit on a village, you automatically capture it with the zombie spawned. Whereas in a normal situation, first you'd have to kill the unit standing on the village, then use another unit to capture it. T...
