It's all about luck. Sometimes, the random SoF level is easy, but to my opinion, it is most of the time uselessly too hard. Don't judge SoF on only a few attempts ;-) Quite possible. I will say that I attempted it 10+ times from saves before going through HttT again from scratch with this one scena...

Perhaps it would be good to publish MD5 hashes of the installation files so that the users can be sure that the file is okay. There is an MD5 for the linux download on the "Release Announcements, Compiling, and Installation" form. read the announcement about 1.1.2a. I don't know about the...

Is there any kind of error output? Could you check the race of your gryphons? I have also gotten this error (with Gryphon Riders).
