This usually occurs because the installation is corrupted. Do you have a Wesnoth directory (perhaps /usr/share/wesnoth or /usr/games/wesnoth) containing the data/, fonts/ and images/ subdirectories? There should be a file or a symlink in fonts/ containing DejaVuSans.ttf; if there is not you have an ...

Re: Unit Presence Check

Does anyone know what WML is needed to check to see if any unit is on a given hex? See http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/EventWML for the moveto event. Also, does anyone know how to check the hex a unit is on for it's terrain type? This is not implemented, it is the subject of feature request https://gna...

You should use the resources available to you, like the extensive documentation at the wiki: http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/ReferenceWML

For teleport just look at scenarios.cfg (the multiplayer_test scenario) which has two teleport points.

Actually, 12-2 and 6-4 can be quite different, due to rounding effects combining with resistances, time of day and leadership.

[time] tags are read in sequence, and you can duplicate them, add different times of day, reorder them etc, to create different effects: see Under the Burning Suns for totally different times of day, or To the Harbour of Tirigaz from Son of the Black Eye for a scenario that takes place during a sing...

You need to preserve the directory structure of campaigns. Copy-and-paste in some file browser is very unlikely to work.

Bruno did work on a browser interface to the campaign server, see http://campaigns.wesnoth.org/ and read the instructions.

Please update http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/Status_of_User_Scenarios to reflect the broken campaigns. I added the "no_leader" issue, but don't have time to check every user campaign.

[Moved to a more appropriate forum.] This problem is endemic throughout the code. Basically, there is an assumption that the values for height/width/x/y are benign. We could just slap a wassert(h>0 && w >0) into scale_surface(), but that would simply crash with an assertion instead of division by 0,...

Another vote for changing slow in trunk again. The "new" slow, with its complex reordering of attacks, still makes no sense to me. To beef up the usually small effect this new slow has, ZOC removal was slapped on to compensate, which seems the wrong approach. ZOC removal is a nice effect, but perhap...
