Re: Hello

Hello.

Do not forget to give a little bit of feedback after you have played the game - feedback from new people helps the main devs a lot.

Poison mechanic

Presently poison sort of works like this: - Some units have the poison attack type. - If they hit a target unit successfully, the unit gets poisoned (poisoned state, with that green icon on the top right of the unit description). When a unit is poisoned, it constantly loses hp per turn, but it will ...

Re: Flight to Freedom

Could the map "River of skulls" be changed a bit? I don't mind a challenging fight, but it's annoying that there are so many different challenges all at the same time. My units fly through the space, except for that fat pirate who can not fly and is a liability, fight through dwarven bosses who all ...

Re: Basic strategy for Flight to Freedom

Old thread but I am currently stuck at River of skulls. The flight to freedom campaign was quite interesting, but the river of skulls is too awful. I know at the least one path how to quickly go to the lava but then there are too many dwarven units coming in, and the silly naga that stay to block th...

New feature "replay/recall last event/dialogue" (that is, review what was said by units)

I suggest a new feature which I will call: "Replay last event." What is this doing: - When the user/player invokes this functionality, the last (non-interactive) dialogue scene/event is repeated . In other words, this serves as a memory/recall function . (The reason why I suggest to not allow this f...

Re: Any tips on knalgan defense?

I love the dwarvish guardsman - it's like the supertank. Dwarven scouts are nice for mobility; fighters are both the offence and can act as tanks, though not as good as the guardsman. Thunderers are both strong but also ... weird. It's a strange unit type. I don't like that they can shoot only once,...

Quality of the add-on campaigns

Not sure if this is the right part of the forum but feel free to move it if you deem another area fits better. The add-ons vary in quality, which is to be expected. Some add-ons are awesome, like the arabian nights; many others are good. Others are, however had, not so good quality-wise. Some add-on...

Re: Witch Campaign: Mountain Witch

I was wondering about the english. :) I did not distract me that much, though - I think the idea behind the campaign is so good that the "imperfect" english is not the most important part really. I originally thought it was from someone from eastern europe since a few grammar-related words appear to...

Re: The possibility to play a 2p-or-more game on a single comput

It may be that he did not found the option. Perhaps it could be made more prominent; and more descriptions used to denote this.

It's a lot easier for people who know wesnoth to know what features it has as opposed to newcomers.

Re: REQ: Add filter drop-down for unit lists

I remembered I suggested a search-functionality (box) for the help menu interface some time ago, so I am all up for improving the sorting in wesnoth in general. Also the recall interface often confused me when I used it; I preferred certain units over others almost always. Some scenarios require fas...

Remove Berserk - Add Fatigue

This suggestion is two in one, sort of. So first, berserk. Berserk is that ability where one until will die in the end. I hate this. It is the single ability I really really hate the most. The reason is threefold: - It annoys me to lose units to berserk suicide kamikaze runs. - I find that berserk l...

User Interface suggestion - please display the name of the campaign somewhere in the interface

I am currently playing an interesting add-on; it had the biggest download size and a long story, with different mechanics ... etc.. something like arabian knights, with flying carpet summoners and lots of stuff. Right now I don't remember the name, and I wanted to give feedback about it - but I have...
