Re: Campaign ideas?
Keep in mind that if your "Campaign Brainstorming" thread blossoms into a fully-fledged campaign development thread, the title and first post can always be changed to suit the new purpose. After coming up with a name for the campaign, of course.

For a question about a specific unit, you may have good luck using the forum Search function. It's up in the top right, in between "FAQ" and "Members."

Re: porque?
A mysterious question indeed. My best guess is that he's inquiring why the multiplayer server is so empty; of course, this only makes sense if he's playing on an outdated Wesnoth version (or possibly the iPad/iPhone version).

Re: Naga Lore
I would definitely play a polished Naga campaign as soon as it comes out, and I'm pretty sure many others would do the same. Who exactly is allowed to write the official lore to the game? Are they open to input from players not affiliated with the programming team? To expand on Gambit's explanation...

Re: A Question Concerning the Multiplayer Server
Using the very latest version of trunk is useful for spotting bugs early, so the more people who can do it, the better. That said, in the interests of having enough players to find a match when you want to, it's probably worth having a copy of either the latest stable or development version.

Re: Water lilies
Looking great. I also downloaded and tested the lilies with gray and swamp water, and results were very good. The only tweak I'd suggest is on the tile that has both an extra-large lily and a flower sitting on it - the combination is quite noticeable and gives a sense of repetition. Apart from that,...

Re: Windows Native Input Method for Wesnoth
Thanks for the tweak!
I'm going to move this topic to the Coder's Corner so that those who add code to the game can have a look at it. It's possible that it might be a useful addition to the Windows binary.

Re: Water lilies
Have you considered testing these new lilies on swamp-coloured water? In my experience, lilies tend to grow in still/stagnant ponds, rather than clear blue lakes and streams. It would be excellent if these lilies could be combined in such a way.

As this is a website-related issue, I'm moving it to the "website" forum. That forum tends to attract the more IT-heavy crowd.

If you're having difficulty finding your Wesnoth files, check out this Wiki page.
I also strongly recommend making a copy of any core Wesnoth files before editing them, just in case things go wrong.

and the fact that you made the tutorial challenging is good . Tells us what we're up against when we start the campaign . I started the first one on novice and it took me nearly 2 hours to get past 2-3 scenarios . I'm glad to see you're not put off! :D If you're playing on Novice and encountering t...

Re: Newbie got a question
Hmmmm. There was some discussion recently about making the Tutorial easier. If that were the case, it would explain why the iPhone version has a harder tutorial. But I don't recall that discussion actually resulting in revisions... there's nothing in the changelogs... :hmm: [Edit] Double-checking, t...
