Re: Zombies (Merry Christmas!)
I think this is probably good enough to include, and I'd greenlight someone committing this. :) ---- :hmm: So the "gorilla in the room" here is that this obviously can't match the quality of Lordbob's most recent offerings; Lordbob is of course a moving target that's rapidly accelerating; ...

Re: Deoran's sprites update
I've got nothing to add to this besides echoing aquileia's suggestion about separating the squire and the underlying horse unit into two separate sets of PNGs.
That, and a great big "thank you."

Re: REQUEST - Clone horseman gallop to knight.
It's armor; gilding on a flange like you'd see on the bottom edge of this kind of cuirass: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0d/Géricault_-_Portrait_de_carabinier_-_Louvre.jpg ^ You'll have to copy-paste this url manually - BBCode can't parse the é. http://www.napoleon-series.org/image...

Re: Zombies (Merry Christmas!)
Back when I joined, the old units sprites/portraits were undergoing revision and there was a sticky thread of things to do for at the very top of this forum. We haven't had such a thing in recent years, and maybe now I'd be the person that should take care of it :( It's still there, we just never h...

Re: female units
Quibbles about setting notwithstanding, we're not feminizing any additional loyalist units simply due to the maintenance burden on the art. Period. With regard to the setting, wesnoth's loyalists are and always will be an expy for real-world medieval/feudal societies (with all their flaws included)...

Re: Loyalists
Yeah, I'm voting for #1 on the far left, too. The most recent swordsman frame posted by Amorphous looks good to move ahead with for animation. Higher level equals taller unit? Yes, mainline units tend to grow 1-2 pixels upon leveling. It's the principle behind "heroic scale" - heroes are o...

Re: Loyalists
This looks quite good, and I encourage you to continue. There are a few minor quibbles with the swing path, but the body motion is fine. Worth noting; there's a slight bit of visual awkwardness in that there isn't a "return to neutral stance" tail on this animation, but don't let that stop...

Re: [Poll] Should the default animation speed be increased?
I spent a long time picking the current animation speeds, as I produced the animations; I had a lot of time to think about it. What I picked was exactly what I intended. In the presence of an easily accessible option to allow anyone to configure it to their heart's content, that's what the default i...

Re: Standing and idle animations?
Hello! :) I'm creating a standing anim for Draug. When he looks at north, we will see his cloak. On the attack frames, we can see a perfect cloak, without any tear or hole. But to my mind, an undead should be a little decomposed! And on the portrait, there isn't any cloak. What must I do? Draw a pe...

It does; I was about to ask you to add the PNGs, but you've apparently gone and done so already.
I'll try to add this tomorrow evening.

No worries - we're not going to make much progress on these in our own time anyways.
