Am playing 0.6... I'll give some bug reports but reserve balancing, feel and overall comments until I finish. Hired Swords scenario: for some reason, the .cfg file of the campaign spells Aragwaithfoot with a capital A. It should be with a lowercase aragwaithfoot. Same for aragwaithmounted. Secondly,...

As a user, and one who hasn't seen the new slow ability, just some comments: 1. Slow is currently very useful against trolls, yetis etc with 2 attacks. 2. Slow is part of the game for a long time. Suggest that if it is changed, a different name like stun be given to it to avoid confusion, esp. if it...

I do not think that Leadership is overpowered. As it stands, there is an innate penalty for units with leadership (Elvish Champ vs Marshal stats, eg). I would favour toning down units with leadership. As for making units 50% more powerful... well, lvl 3 leaders are not that common in multiplayer, an...

Some bugs: 1. On the level where you can recruit mermen, you can recruit both mermen and mermen fighters. I'm thinking mermen are obselete - since they advance to triton, which is also obseleted. 2. Black the Red doesn't have AMLA enabled. Overall, nice campaign, but the last level is too easy. Also...

Quartex - have been playing UtBS on Hard difficulty. It's been tough, but I think it's reasonably balanced. In particular, you'll end scenario 3 with no gold and hence scenario 4 is really difficult, but doable if you truly truly optimise. Anyway, I just completed Out of the Frying Pan, and have a c...

1.0 congratulatory thread
This is my 1.0 congratulatory thread... I've been playing Wesnoth for more than a year, since version 0.5+... this has been a great trip, from a user who has spent hundred of hours "playtesting". The developers have done a great job. BfW is a fabulous game, with a strong community. Congrat...

Scott - great campaign. Good feel, and ties in well with HttT. Saw your clarification on why my peasants turn into outlaws - I guess it makes sense. Only 1 last thing: the lvl 3 outlaws don't seem to have AMLA enabled. Also, when I advance them from lvl 2 to 3, I have the choice of getting additiona...
