I just went to the http://wesnoth.slack.it/units.cgi?page=frames webpage and was surprised to see all the stats for a bunch of factions that I didn't think were in the mainline compile. Previously the units.cgi just listed official units, so this surprised me. As a developer I often use this webpage...

clodoveo, thanks for the bug reports. They have been fixed in the SVN version of wesnoth. Yu can fix them by opening the file 6_2_Hunting_Trolls.cfg. Find the unit "Grog" and change side=2 to side=3 in his unit definition. Likewise find "troll2" and change it to "Troll Shaman". Unfortunately you wil...

also you'll have to restard the scenario from the beginning (at least I had to do it :( ) I apoligize about this, but yes you have to restart the scenario for the code change to take effect. on the other hand, there was a serpent in "frying pan" ? I didn't encounter him ... Yes there were, but not ...

inykane, Go to data/campaigns/under_the_burning_suns/scenarios/6_2_Hunting_Dwarves.cfg Search for the word "troll2" replace it with "Troll Shaman" and everything will be fine. For the record: also open 8_Frying_Pan.cfg, search for "Water Serpent", and delete any lines containing that unit. Finally o...

I also got the Sea Serpent2 so I didn't come near his lair and so didn't rescue the merman. Was there anything particular to it ? No, it was just a monster guarding a bonus merman unit. I had used a custom version of the Sea Serpent which was weaker than the standard wesnoth serpent. I removed the ...

should there be an early finish bonus for the longest night scenario? The lack of an "early finish" bonus is intentional. Instead the bonus is calculated based on how many villages you save. The more you save, the less the cost of recruiting new units increases. This scenario is designed to be harsh.

Not a bad little game. Interesting premise and a different kind of gameplay than most arcade games. Good Job.

Helping facilitate the ease of one scenario < breaking several other scenarios. Later scenarios there are times where I want to restrict the elves movement and keep you from being able to fly all over the map, that's why I kept the shydes/stars from being able to fly over deep water. And SJ ...

Eleazar wrote:Check the terrain letter wiki page. We made sure to leave at least 7 terrains free for UCMs (7 is the current max number of custom terrains any UMC has used).
Thanks Eleazar, I changed UTBS so that 'X' is used for chasms, instead of '&', and I updated the wiki page to reflect this.

emdot,
I'll fix the victory dialog at the end of scenario 5. The impassable mountains appeared becuase I was using the '&' character for my custom chasm terrain, and that got taken over by the new terrain type. I'll have to work around that.

gabbro,
Thanks for the notes. Most of these problems have been fixed in the 1.1.2a version. The image problems you're encountering are caused by the fact that updated the image links to the most recent version of wesnoth, breaking the campaign on older versions of wesnoth.

For the record: Yechnagoth is not a god, she's is an extrtemely powerful creature from another plane, (most of her abilities involve mind-control and long-distance communication). However my point was that an extremly powerful creature from another plane could be considered a god by more primitive c...

Notice: In Scenario 8 of UTBS 1.5.1 and the mainline version there is a missing unit: the water serpent. The lack of this unit will crash the scenario. This has been fixed in the 1.1.2-SVN version, but in case you can't download that, I have compiled a zip file of the water serpent unit file and ima...
