Re: UREpic Era

This seems quite interesting.. I tried playing the 1st scenario of the campaign and it seemed quite interesting too. For multiplayer development it probably does require kind of rethinking about what the game is about, it doesn't seem like this will work very well around capturing villages etc, but ...

Old era - limited version of Ageless Era

Old era is not quite ageless era but something similar. It uses Ageless Era's resources and unit definitions. The primary difference is that not all AE factions are included. Here's a description of the current status of the era: merge/modify with something else: ae - deep elves - maybe some off bal...

Re: Creep Wars addon

I think it would be closer to my personal taste if some of the upgrades were based on mutually exclusive items of different types. Also I think some items should be race specific to make things interesing. Here's some suggestions: Rings category Thane's ring (of vigor): +20 health and 8% recovery of ...

2p - Khronos' Caves

Decided to start making some 2 player head to head maps, while taking influences from other maps at least for these first two. Khronos' Caves .. inspired by Caves of the Basilisk khronos.png Uesugi's Frozen Bridge ... inspired by Silverhead Crossing uesugi.png ... Added another map, perhaps inspired...

Two new maps

Odin's Cross is very heavily emulated from Isar's Cross and I think it's probably too similar. Memorial is perhaps too large. Any comment's on these?

Re: 4p - Lotus Fields, mappack

Atra hasis cross: Those villages are way too near each other, the map could use a lengthening at northeast-southwest by like 1-5 tiles. Lotus fields: this one looks interesting as it seems to have decent water ways for amphibian usage. tree of life: The villages are lined up perfectly symetrical no...

4p - Lotus Fields, mappack

I have made a multiplayer mappack on the add-on server called "Lotus Fields". It contains maps for 4 players with two 2 player teams. The maps are inspired by Isar's Cross, but I have to say they've not achieved the same quality in terms of gameplay. In this thread I'd like to try and get feedback f...

Re: Murky Weathercast, debugging errors

The main issue was that the code was in separate files and the stuff in metacode_math.lua wasn't available to the other file

Murky Weathercast, debugging errors

Introduction Murky Weathercast is a rework of the popular Dark Forecast survival scenario. The scenario doesn't aim to introduce any fundamentally new elements (for now) into the classic Dark Forecast gameplay. There's a new mapset and the code is being reworked. And I have some problems with lua, ...

I've always found that site somewhat useful for names.
It's a pretty cool tool imo.
Seems like an interesting site, thanks

City of Elaia, elves

Lore: The elven city of Elaia lies in the forest of Lintanir, where life has been peaceful for decades. The glowing palace , a governmental residence, lies in the heart of the city, where socialites gather and discuss communal affairs. In the halls of memory scholars cultivate the young minds to th...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

The village placement hints at the possibility this kind of activity was intended by the creator, but someone might still find this interesting (replay as attachment). It's somewhat lengthy, speeding up all the replay settings. Normally PECF seems crude but since I happened to have found a pair thi...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Beelzebub spawns If I understand correctly the mechanic is such that for each level the percentage of turns saved is stored and added together. And for a spawn 500 is required and spent. In chapter 6 there's 15 levels, which means that at maximum 1500% could be saved, and in chapter 7, according to...
