Thanks for your update and explanation.

Re: Ubuntu 16.04 desktop icon size

If it is only the desktop icon, that is a problem for you, search for the icon-image in your installed game folders, and maybe try to resize it yourself using any image manipulation program (e.g."The Gimp" or any other for Linux). That's what i would do myself. Right, I understand that I ...

Re: how to open replay old files

I'm using Wesnoth app, as soon as you open it, there's a load game button at the right hand side, and I use it to load replay file. All my replay files (the one I saved and the ones saved by the app are found there) are kept under Saves folder under userdata.

Thanks Ravana for the tip, I'll take a look.

advanced search question

According to the advanced search page, if I want to search for two words showing in the some page/posting, I need to put a + in front of the word, so I've put +replay +file, but the search result said file ignored, why? I've put + in front of it, what I'm doing wrong?

Re: Ubuntu 16.04 desktop icon size

I'm not sure I understand the question, but that sounds like a Ubuntu issue rather than anything Wesnoth controls. I don't think it's an Ubuntu issue, in my desktop, I'm using small icons, so when I install apps, the apps' icon showing up on my desktop are small, but after installing Wesnoth, the W...

Re: share game data between Windows 10 & Ubuntu 16.04

Ubuntu should be able to read NTFS without any problem, so you could probably create a link for the Ubuntu Wesnoth that points to the Windows Wesnoth userdata directory. I've never dual booted though, so a guess is the best I can do. Thanks, I'll give it a try, just installed it, but haven't played...

Re: share game data between Windows 10 & Ubuntu 16.04

I dual boot windows 10 and linux mint. Setting up automounted shared folder is not difficult, and later you can just pass the paths to each wesnoth. Though I decided not to share everything - copying preferences and private addons was enough for me. /etc/fstab addition with my windows UUID UUID=927...

I'm using small icon for my desktop, after installing Wesnoth for Ubuntu 16.04, the icon is huge, and I can't resize it, is there a way to resize it? How.

share game data between Windows 10 & Ubuntu 16.04

Is it possible to share game data between Windows 10 & Ubuntu 16.04? If so, how can I do it? I installed Wesnoth in my D drive and put the game data in the same dir as the installation one.

I'm playing this game for almost a month, so fairly new, I couldn't find details on how to calculate when a unit can kill another, can someone please explain it to me to pointing where I can find more info about this topic? My understanding is when a unit is low in HP, it's about to die, but where/w...
